A Partial List of Trump's Atrocities

Truthout.org
October 17, 2017

The assaults from Donald Trump, now daily, are relentless.

Those in the U.S. who oppose his policies (a large majority of the country at this point, according to recent polls), are suffering a collective trauma because his administration is actively attacking our already-meager healthcare system, cutting funding for halfway houses, gutting the already compromised and weak EPA, placing corporate cronies and climate disruption deniers into powerful government positions, threatening thermonuclear war, actively destabilizing a Middle East that is already in flames...you get the idea.

Yet this is just a partial list of the litany of damage this narcissistic, mentally unstable president is causing.

In addition, his ongoing attacks against the media make it all too clear that the need for an independent press has never been so great.
Authoritarian regimes require silence and darkness within public consciousness to carry out their agendas.

The counterweight to this is a strong independent media.

MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle repeatedly nails GOPer's butt to the wall for dodging tax question

Raw Story
September 27, 2017

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle on Wednesday refused to let Rep. Tom Reed (R-NY) to get away with dodging a question about tax reform.

Ruhle began her interview with Reed by noting that he had recently attended a meeting with President Donald Trump to discuss tax legislation.

"You met just yesterday with President Trump at the White House and talked tax reform,"
Ruhle explained.
"What can you tell us about that meeting and what specific details did President Trump share about the plan?"

"Well, you know, the best thing about the meeting was we invited the Democratic members of the Ways and Means Committee," Reed replied.

"That's not what I asked you, Tom," Ruhle interrupted.

"I appreciate that, Stephanie," Reed grimaced, before opining about how he welcomed the
"opportunity to be there with Democrats and Republicans."

"Not what I asked 'ya," Ruhle pressed again.

"We're delving into the details," Reed insisted.

"So, what I'm asking you is, besides that it was so great and you were honored to be at the White House and see Democrats there," Ruhle demanded, "what are the details in the plan?"

After her fourth request, Reed explained that the plan would "lower the tax rates" and allow Americans to file taxes on a "postage card."
