Do American's even know what is in the ACA?
I find when talking about the ACA (Obama Care) people will say they don't like it. But, if I start asking about health care point by point, such as preexisting conditions or preventive care they like the individual pieces. The only thing most don't like is the mandate which has no teeth at all. They believe they will be taxed to pay for other's heath care, I keep hearing "I shouldn't have to pay for someone else's health care".
It hasn't been sold to the American people, they haven't been educated.
They were misinformed by those like Palin.
Today I saw an ad which talked about the preventive care part of the ACA, the ad was paid for by healthcare.gov but didn't tell that this came about because of the ACA.
I think with the exception of Tea Baggers who can't be educated and a hand full of "red dog Republicans" who are against anything Obama supports, even if it is a Republican idea, the American people would support the ACA.
They just need to be educated.
Let me get this right,
Your state has an improving economy it is your GOP Governors credit,
Your state has a bad economy it is President Obamas fault.
I am so tire of the Republican's double standard.
Is it time to stop playing fair?
We know the tactics of the Republicans when they have any power at all. Yet, each time Democrats get in power they play nice then have their asses handed to them on a plate.
Why don't we take a chance and stop playing fair. Just see how that works for a change, everything else has failed, we really don't have much to lose.

Who would be taking credit? What would Issa say? What would have been said if the agent was killed in 2008?
It has been so politicized I don't know what to think. Is it time for an independent investigation?
In my little world
I am a liberal. Possibly ultra liberal. I do live in a very red state and a very red house district. I am always on the left of every issue.
However, here on DU I at times feel moderate or even conservative.
I am just wondering who we are on DU.
How do you see yourself?
Fast and Furious Question
First, forgive me for being so callused and heartless in the question I am about to ask.
Second, lets assume just for the sake of this question it goes all the way to the desk of President Obama.
So here is the question;
President Bush's war with Iraq which as far as I know did not find even one WMD or prove that Saddam Hussein had anything to do with 9/11 which is why we went to war cost our country over 4000 service members their lives plus the lives of over 100,000 Iraqi civilians not to mention the trillions of dollars, yet no contempt of congress or impeachment of the president. Yet, one boarder control agent dies and all hell is breaking loose. I feel for the family of that agent but why the deep concern for the one yet the total disregard of those 4000?
Which part of the Bible is most important?
I was raised being told the Bible was divided into two parts. The Old Testament and The New Testament. But, I alway though The New Testament should be divided also, the four gospels which have the word of Christ in red and the rest of it.
If you will humor me and make the same three divisions which is more important?
I would think the four gospels would be not just the most important but should trump the other two.
Unemployment Compensation Question
I at times hear Republicans claim unemployment compensation prevents people from taking jobs when they are offered. They seem to think everyone who isn't rich is lazy.
If someone had a full time job with benefits making $50,000 are they really suppose to take a part time job without benefits making $16,000 per year, just to get off unemployment?
