Zimmerman's defense of lies
Is what people are basing their defense of him on. HE says Trayvon was suspicious. HE says Trayvon sucker-punched him. HE says Trayvon bashed his head (an obvious lie). If you add up all that Zimmerman says it sounds more like a setup than a case of self defense.
I am really tired of people saying Trayvon attacked him when Trayvon had no idea Zimmerman existed until he followed Trayvon in his SUV. Any way you paint this, Zimmerman is the element that put everything else into motion. No, following was not illegal. But, buying Skittles and Iced Tea was not illegal either. And, that's the only truth we know. Trayvon was found guilty of buying Skittles and Iced Tea. Everything else sprang from the imagination of a bonafide liar.

Zimmerman family extremely smug during trial.
The father (ret. judge) had a haughty expression that irked the living shit out of me. The wife looked like this happens everyday. I really couldn't see mother. And, where was run his mouth a mile minute brother? This is a family that definitely feels privileged.
Were there any other neighborhood watch members?
If so, why haven't they come forward to testify for Zim? if not, why not? The lynchpin of its existence is the escalating crime in the neighborhood. Was Zim the ONLY concerned neighbor?
Can you even begin to imagine the devastation
Travon's father felt listening to his son's cries for help and the shot that ended his life knowing his son had pulled him from a fire saving his life the first time? Not being there to answer that cry will haunt both parents forever, but the father will feel it much more. A psychiatrist might call it "survivor's guilt". The tragedy of this is so much deeper than most people will ever understand for him.
The defense in doing their job is shining an ugly light on our justice system. Now, they've been green-lighted to talk about THC in Trayvon's system and that he was the exception to the commonly accepted "weed makes you mellow, hungry and a little paranoid." I have never heard of a pot smoker being aggressive, but I'm sure they will traipse out someone to testify that it happens. Destroy a family. Trash a child, save a lying muderer.
When is prosecution going to . . .
Bring up the fact that if Zimmerman's gun was holstered behind him and he was lying flat on his back with Trayvon straddling him (knees near armpits) in the dark; how could Trayon have seen or reached for it? Sounds like Zimmerman had the gun in his hand before he hit the ground. None of the facts come together the way Zimmerman told it.
Swallowed, degraded or washed away.
How convenient for Zimmerman that all of the universe's forces lined up for him to get away with murder. He swallowed his blood from his battered nose through a barrage of punches and head slamming (or do I have that backwards?). The blood that splattered on Trayvon degraded. Oh, and the tissue from his injuries and Trayvon's prints and dna on the gun was washed away by the rain.
The fact that Zimmerman had no defensive wounds stretches the imagination. He didn't even scratch his elbow while retrieving his gun from its holder with a 160 pound teenager straddling him and either punching him in the face or banging his head on cement. The fact that there were no battle bruises on Trayvon stretches it further still.
Why did he talk so freely with police without an attorney? Because he was still fantasizing about being one of them. He knows enough about police shootings to know he didn't need an airtight alibi to get away with it if he was one of them.
While everyone is focusing on the prosecutor not proving beyond a doubt that Zimmerman killed Trayvon on purpose, they are overlooking the fact that there is no evidence to corroborate Zimmerman's version of what happened either. The two scratches on his head and the bump on his nose won't buy a bullet through the heart for me.
