after a while, when it kicks in they get all huggy buggy

In a 1990 episode of The Cosby Show, Cosby's character, Cliff Huxtable, hosts a barbecue for his friends and family where he feeds them barbecue sauce that—unbeknownst to them—makes people horny and docile. Toward the end of the episode, at around the 20:53 mark in the video above, Cosby smirks when his wife says, "Well, now it certainly is nice to see them work things out for themselves," referring to the guests who had been fighting over women's issues before the meal but are now snuggling and kissing each other. "They haven't worked anything out for themselves," Cosby responds. "It's my barbecue sauce... Haven't you ever noticed after people have some of my barbecue sauce, after a while, when it kicks in, they get all huggy-buggy?... Haven't you ever noticed that after one of my barbecues—and they have the sauce—people want to get right home?" He then tells his wife that he's got a cup of it up in their room on the night table.

The episode is creepy no matter how you watch it, but the scene is freakishly reminiscent of the sexual-assault allegations against the 77-year-old comedian, who is currently under investigation by the LAPD.

The rest of the episode is about Cliff's son Theo sparking a debate by trying to hire a stripper for his future brother-in-law's bachelor party. The debate loads the episode up with quotes that are are pretty horrifying in their own right when presented without context, such as, "There we go again! Male domination!" and "You're willing to watch a woman be used as a man's plaything."

Just watch the whole thing and feel weird.

Southern Culture

The Southern states have a rich and unique culture(s) so far beyond and so much more worthy of fond remembrance than being the bad guys and losers in a civil war.

Jazz, Blues, fried green tomatoes, butter beans ,Janice Joplin, blackberry cobbler, peach cobbler, Ann Richards, pimento cheese, bread pudding black eyed peas, Walt Whitman, barbeque, sweet tea, gospel music, elvis, good manners, Mark Twain, Edgar Allen Poe, REM, Band of Horses, Allman Brothers, William Faulkner, Tennessee Williams, Harper Lee, Hunter S. Thompson, MLK, ...,,

we have a lot to be proud of and don't need the disgraced banner of a defeated slave nation to represent us.

btw here is what would be flying over the sc capitol had they gone the way of South Africa

I think a self proclaimed socialist has a better chance of winning the general election than

someone who voted to shield gun manufacturers from Sandy Hook parents has of winning the Democratic Primary.

Sanders seeks middle ground on guns

http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/05/politics/bernie-sanders-gun-control/index.html

He said there's a major difference between Vermont, a rural state with little gun control where hunting is a way of life, and cities like Chicago, where guns are used by gangs.

"Folks who do not like guns is fine. But we have millions of people who are gun owners in this country -- 99.9% of those people obey the law," Sanders said. "I want to see real, serious debate and action on guns, but it is not going to take place if we simply have extreme positions on both sides. I think I can bring us to the middle."

Sanders seems like an open minded dude, one who can handle the harshest of criticism.

I cant imagine him wanting even his harshest critics silenced or censored. Anyone disagred. I will hapilly work and vote for him if he wins the primary.
