Roofs removed by Tsunamis?

Yeah, sure thing jeff.

You may want to just delete that and move on?

Fukushima radioactive waters to hit US any day now

According to this report it would take 3 years for the Fuku radioactive waters to reach the western US shores. (But we already have debris from the tsunami reaching us, so any day now.)

And given that the reactors have been and are still leaking radioactivity, the plumes will keep coming and coming. Adding up. Even if the leaks were stopped today, for 3 years we would see pollution hitting us.

At this link is the web page that article above is based on. Turn on javascript and click on map to see how water flows across the pacific, or anywhere.

Not holding my breath

I go hunting a troll, make them expose themselves by cornering them, and I get stabbed in the back. Makes ya wonder, doesn't it? Or is it just an honest mistake? That's why we make apologies__because of honest mistakes.

Here is the troll's pizza page:

How much $$ do they need?

How is it you know there is no NPP fuel at Hanford?

Did you know that the budget this year at Hanford is $2 billion or more? How much have the contractors been paid so far?

Why can't they pump the leaking tanks at Hanford and place the residue in new tanks?

Tornado Theory

Here is my new theory of tornado construction/means of destruction:

The tornado 'tube' is full of water falling from the clouds. It is a cloud falling to earth from as high as 40,000 feet.

The falling water from the cloud hits the circular turning rising air and that air concentrates the falling water into what we see: the circular funnel shaped cloud and the tube reaching to the earth.

When you see the on-ground track of the storm where it crosses open land, a mud trail is left from the impact of water hitting with its mass and velocity.

When that concentrated mass of water hits the ground, it hits like a ton of bricks smashing everything it hits.

Just a theory. Feel free to discuss.

Hot Water From Fukushima is Entering Pacific Ocean

Based on satellite observations of Sea Surface Temperature Anomalies, it appears nuclear heated water from the destroyed nuclear plants at Fukushima is entering the Pacific ocean off the coast of Japan.

There are three uncontrolled reactor cores that have melted from overheating. That has never happened before.

And one of them had a good bit of plutonium. So we are dealing with a lot of unknowns.

What is surmised is that these melted blobs of nuclear reactor cores have burned down into the ground next to the Pacific ocean and have been heating the ground water for two years. Ground water there moves into the ocean at a slow pace.

This nuclear heated water then becomes surface water in the Pacific. It may only be a few dozen meters in depth. Maybe less than that since it is fresh water and fresh water floats on top of salt water.

First is a map of Sea Surface Temperature Anomalies (SSTA) from a week ago, from Unysis Weather. Following that is another source map from NOAA of SSTA.

First the Unysis map from April 7, 2013. Look closely at the yellow and red blob offshore of Japan. Note there is not another red and yellow blob anywhere else on the map.

Here is the map from NOAA from April 20, 2013. Look closely at the SSTA around Japan and note that most of the water around Japan is actually cooler than usual (anomaly) but there again is that hot spot off the coast of Japan, just offshore from Fukushima.

This is what the satellites are showing. Discuss.

Fukushima is Heating Pacific Ocean

The melted reactors of Fukushima have been leaking hot water into the ocean and satellites can see the added heat.

Here is link to surface anomaly. Hot link won't show, so copy and paste this link.

See the yellow blob off the coast of Japan? A few days ago it was red.

There are three uncontrolled reactor cores that have melted from overheating. That as never happened before.

And one of them had a good bit of plutonium. So we are dealing with unknowns.

What is surmised is that these melted blobs of nuclear reactor cores have burned down into the ground next to the Pacific ocean. Ground water there moves into the ocean at a slow pace.

This nuclear heated water is now surface water. It may only be a few dozen meters in depth. The fact that it contains many radioactive compounds could be keeping it from mixing with the unpolluted colder seawater, besides the fact that radiation still produces constant heat.

What we have here are uncontrolled reactors, and the science shows excess heat is being produced and that heat is affecting the temperatures in the nearby Pacific ocean.

Words. Discuss.

These were your words before edit:

"".... is based on nothing but ignorance and unfounded fear -- two of the pillars in the US environmental movement. ""

What it looks like you believe is that two of the pillars of the US environmental movement are "ignorance and unfounded fear".

Some scientists would sell their mothers

Some.

So here's an English major sitting there and some mother seller comes along with a piled high degree and seduces the writer into believing they are god. Yeah, it's a problem.

So damn easy to just bend over and repeat what 'god' says.

As for headlines, that's the mother selling editor's fault, usually.

Kris, the gig is up, man. Pam has exposed us.

I posted this in that Meta thread just a few minutes ago. And figured I best tell you that it's over. Hey, it was fun, right? Scaring everybody about radiation. We done good tho. Here's the post, verbatim:

Damn, Pam, You got us figured out!

Of course there is nothing to worry about when nuke plants blow to smithereens like Fukushima. Never was.

We crazy anti-nukes were just laughing our asses off. We caused the nuke industry to take all those expensive measures to control radiation. We cost them big big bucks.

Bwahahaha! We are such evil bastards. It's our fault all those people have been evacuated from around Chernobyl and Fukushima. We are the reason why the US Navy turned and ran from Fukushima. All because we scared them! The EPA was on to us tho... they shut down all the air monitors and that kept us from scaring even mo' better.

You got us Pam. We have been discovered. We have been lying all this time, We almost had people convinced radiation will mess up their day.

Damn, thwarted. Next thing you know it will be revealed that nuke dirty bombs were just a scare tactic invented by us to make money. You will be the nuke industry hero when all this makes the news.
