I want to know why Christians don't pray Ebola away?

Who can tell me about Charlie Baker, R, running against Martha Coakley for Gov of Mass.?

I have a nephew who lives in Ma., he has asked me for advice about Charlie Baker. My nephew is a borderline republican, brought up by my foolish brother who works in IT at Bain Capital and tows the republican line. My nephew however seems to want to make an informed decision, the only problem is, I don't know anything about Charlie Baker. Of course I've started a google search for information, but I thought people on DU might know a bit more, especially those who live in Ma.

ignorance and arrogance. I post many of them on facebook because I find that they draw more attention than my well articulated reasonings for or against a particular issue. One of the reasons I believe, is due to the small attention span that most people have. Cartoons speak quickly with images, in a way that words can never do, they can explain subtleties with ease and once burned into the mind's eye they don't get erased, unlike a paragraph or two which someone stops reading after one sentence.
It has been a very effective tool for me in combatting the lies and misrepresentations put out by some on my friends list.

It's that time of year again, just want to make sure I don't miss out!

I am now covered by health insurance, thanks to Obama-Care.

I have not had health insurance for 6 years, due to a preexisting condition. Today with the help of a the 800# for the Obama-care health exchange I have a good insurance plan which is affordable. I will now be able to get the procedures I have needed.
