I hope the new year strengthens your rights and brings a reduction in gun violence, the best of outcomes.
have to be away from home on the holidays.
The long haul truckers and the military and the medical staff and the retail workers and anyone else who is alone this holiday season.
I remember my Christmas in Vietnam in 1968 and a few Christmases when I was alone without friends or family around.
One year I was jobless and we were losing our home. We had no money for Christmas and on Christmas Eve we walked around the neighborhood looking into the windows of those celebrating then crying ourselves to sleep
embargo the right is talking about is that labor unions be permitted to form in Cuba.
Yet the right is killing the unions in this country.
from Vandenberg AFB. You can watch it from the ground going up into the sky from my house. It is a secret mission tonight.
a real progressive? Shouldn't that problem be resolved soon?
If a progressive was going to support regulation and middle class issues surely Wall Street isn't going to fund their campaign.
We would have to step up and pay for it. That should begin now.
I think anyone who wants to see a progressive on the ticket should pledge money and pledge to vote.
Ready for Hillary is getting donations now.
We knew Bush and Cheney were lying about WMDs. We knew the Iraq war was about oil. We learned about Abu Ghraib years ago. We knew the war was off the books. We knew about secret rendition. I don't think any of us thought that this torture report was going to be anything other than what it is.
Going forward to me is not about not holding Bush, Cheney and the CIA accountable.
It is about not being able to rub the right wing's noses in the shit they created and supported.
