JUST IN: Documents obtained by @ABCNews show at least 4 Sanders staffers accessed Clinton voter data
A Bernie Sanders campaign staffer was fired on Wednesday after allegedly accessing data from the Hillary Clinton campaign, and it has created quite a problem for the Sanders campaign.
Now, it has come to light that the Sanders staffer may have downloaded and exported the Clinton campaign's data, and it may have been more than one Sanders staffer that accessed the information, Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said today.

Top Democrats on Homeland Security Committees Endorse Clinton’s Security Plan
The top Democrats on the House and Senate Homeland Security Committees are backing the homeland security strategy Hillary Clinton laid out at a speech at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis on Tuesday.
Delaware Sen. Thomas R. Carper and Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson on Wednesday praised what Clinton called a “360-degree” strategy — a five-part plan to root out domestic radicalization and fight ISIS abroad — and said it would help stop another attack like the one that was carried out in San Bernardino, California, earlier this month.
“In her speech, she laid out the right and responsible approach to combating the greatest threats to our homeland, including online self-radicalization, and proposed examining our visa programs to root out any potential weaknesses – something our committee has been doing in the wake of the Paris and San Bernardino attacks,” Carper said in a statement.
“As the nature of the threat continues to evolve, we need a leader like Secretary Clinton who knows what to do to keep Americans safe while upholding the values and principles we stand for as a nation. I am as confident as ever in her ability to take on these challenges as our next commander in chief,” Carper continued.

Here’s why: I want to have a woman president. And, no, not any woman president. Hillary is not, as her detractors would have it, Margaret Thatcher or, God forbid, Sarah Palin. She is, like most in the Democratic Party, a centrist. In her political orientation, deep intelligence, and policy wonkishness, she is not at all unlike Obama. But I support her less for her particular political positions (some of which I agree with, some of which I do not, all of which are far superior to the racist/sexist/xenophobic sideshow that is the Republican field) than for the iconic value-added of electing the first woman president of the United States.
Shattering glass ceilings can have broad and rippling consequences. The election of Obama did not usher in an era of “post-racial” accord. However, it brought to the surface the enduring power of racial animus and the equally enduring struggles against it. The Black Lives Matter movement, for example, may have come into being without his presidency, but surely the very fact of this man, with this history, with this body, with this skin in the (very, very) White House opens up space for discussions, debates, movements that are critically important. Obama took it upon himself to explicitly defend the work of Black Lives Matter and school the nation on police violence during an October White House forum on criminal justice where he insisted that “it’s real and there’s a history behind it and we have to take it seriously.” His earlier comments, after the murder of Trayvon Martin, that “this could have been me 35 years ago,” may not have sparked the growing movement against racist police violence, but it surely did give it legitimacy and official voice.

Author brings up some great points. For example, if you believe that the election of Barack Obama, besides being an excellent president, also served as a societal good in that it inspired the youth, particularly black and minority youth, then so would the inspiration for young girls and women.

My comprehensive plan has already won praise from progressives like Sherrod Brown and Barney Frank. Here’s what it would do.
First, we need to further rein in major financial institutions. My plan proposes legislation that would impose a new risk fee on dozens of the biggest banks — those with more than $50 billion in assets — and other systemically important financial institutions to discourage the kind of hazardous behavior that could induce another crisis. I would also ensure that the federal government has — and is prepared to use — the authority and tools necessary to reorganize, downsize and ultimately break up any financial institution that is too large and risky to be managed effectively. No bank or financial firm should be too big to manage.
My plan would strengthen the Volcker Rule by closing the loopholes that still allow banks to make speculative gambles with taxpayer-backed deposits. And I would fight to reinstate the rules governing risky credit swaps and derivatives at taxpayer-backed banks, which were repealed during last year’s budget negotiations after a
determined lobbying campaign by the banks.
My plan also goes beyond the biggest banks to include the whole financial sector. Some have urged the return of a Depression-era rule called Glass-Steagall, which separated traditional banking from investment banking. But many of the firms that contributed to the crash in 2008, like A.I.G. and Lehman Brothers, weren’t traditional banks, so Glass-Steagall wouldn’t have limited their reckless behavior. Nor would restoring Glass-Steagall help contain other parts of the “shadow banking” sector, including certain activities of hedge funds, investment banks and other non-bank institutions. My plan would strengthen oversight of these activities, too — increasing leverage and liquidity requirements for broker-dealers and imposing strict margin requirements on the kinds of short-term borrowing that also played a major role in spurring the financial crisis. We need to tackle excessive risk wherever it lurks, not just in the banks.
