Iran Nuclear Deal Is Reached After Long Negotiation.
VIENNA Iran and a group of six nations led by the United States have agreed to a historic accord to significantly limit Tehrans nuclear ability for more than a decade in return for lifting international oil and financial sanctions against Iran, a senior Western diplomat involved in the negotiations said on Tuesday.
The deal culminates 20 months of negotiations on a deal that President Obama had long sought as the biggest diplomatic achievement of his presidency.
A formal announcement of the agreement was expected later on Tuesday, when foreign ministers from Iran and the six nations it has been negotiating with will meet at a United Nations complex here in Vienna. Catherine Ray, a spokeswoman for the European Union, said a final plenary meeting of the six nations the United States, Britain, France, Germany, China and Russia will take place at 10:30 a.m. in Vienna, followed by a news conference, but she provided no further details.
Diplomats have declined to provide details until Secretary of State John Kerry and his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, speak at that event. Mr. Obama is expected to make a public statement in Washington, beginning a long process to sell the deal to Congress and the American public.

Hillary Clinton Raises Record $45 Million in First Quarter of Campaign
Clinton attended dozens of high-dollar fundraisers, though 91% of the donations came from people who gave $100 or less.
Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign raised at least $45 million during its first quarter, her campaign told Bloomberg on Wednesday.
Clinton's haul from her campaign's launch in mid-April through June 30 is a record for primary money raised in a candidate's first quarter. President Barack Obama held the previous record for a campaign's first quarter, raising $41.9 million after launching his re-election bid.
The Democratic frontrunner appeared dozens of high-dollar fundraisersmany in New York, several in California, plus a smattering smaller cities like St. Louis, Austin and Albuquerquewhere attendees were often asked to give the primary-season maximum $2,700 or to raise at least $27,000.
The campaign, though, is emphasizing a number that it sees a sign of grassroots support: 91 percent of the donations were of $100 or less. In a handwritten note posted on Twitter just after the campaign announced the top-line numbers, Clinton expressed her appreciation. "Thank you so much for being part of this campaign. Im grateful for all youve done and excited for what comes next," she wrote. "When the road ahead is tough, you need the best people by your side. Thats why Im thankful for you."

Newest PPP poll out today has Hillary gaining momentum on all Dem candidates.
-snip-
Bernie Sanders may be gaining momentum in recent New Hampshire polling but Hillary Clinton is more dominant than ever in the national polling. She's at 65% to 9% for Bernie Sanders, 5% for Martin O'Malley, and 4% each for Lincoln Chafee and Jim Webb. Sanders is the most common second choice of Democratic voters at 19% and O'Malley has broken away from Chafee and Webb to become the clear third choice of primary voters at 12%. Overall Clinton is the first or second choice of 73% of Democrats to 28% for Sanders, 17% for O'Malley, 8% for Chafee, and 7% for Webb.
Clinton continues to be dominant nationally with every segment of the Democratic electorate- she's over 60% with liberals, moderates, women, men, Hispanics, whites, and voters in every age group and she's polling at 83% with African Americans. The lack of racial diversity in New Hampshire is one reason Sanders is coming closer to her there given her dominance with black voters nationally.

Hillary's economic adviser is Joseph Stiglitz?
Whoa if true. And her other economic adviser is a Wall Street watchdog. Great choices.
Stiglitz is advising Clinton on economic policy, and her aides have met repeatedly with Roosevelt Institute scholars and staff, including at least one session since the release of the report, according to a person familiar with the discussions.
From the article: Hillary's FDR Moment
I’m a liberal professor, and I’m NOT afraid of students who question me.
Edward Schlosser says, Im a liberal professor, and my liberal students terrify me. Strangely, he doesnt give any evidence that hes at all liberal, and the one personal incident he cites involves a conservative student.
That was it. That was the first, and so far only, formal complaint a student has ever filed against me, he says. Further, this was the response of the administration:
Along with a carbon-copy form, my description was placed into a file that may or may not have existed. Then nothing. It disappeared forever; no one cared about it beyond their contractual duties to document student concerns. I never heard another word of it again.
So then he scurries off to Vox and writes a long essay in which he complains that hes terrified by liberal students. This makes no sense at all. There has to be more to his concerns than this. He makes a few vague efforts...

Drumroll please....
Hastert Misconduct Involves Sexual Abuse Of A Male | Crooks and Liars
Anonymous federal sources are speaking to the LA Times, and the story isn't pretty. It also confirms why he is resigning hastily from the Wheaton College Center that bears his name as well as the lobbying firm he's been working for.
LA Times
One of the officials, who would not speak publicly about the federal charges in Chicago, said Individual A, as the person is described in Thursdays federal indictment, was a man and that the alleged misconduct was unrelated to Hasterts tenure in Congress. The actions date to Hasterts time as a Yorkville, Ill., high school wrestling coach and teacher, the official said.
It goes back a long way, back to then, the source said. It has nothing to do with public corruption or a corruption scandal. Or to his time in office. Thursdays indictment described the misconduct against Individual A as having occurred years earlier.
Asked why Hastert was making the payments, the official said it was to conceal Hasterts past relationship with the male. It was sex, the source said. The other official confirmed that the misconduct involved sexual abuse.
Cue the homophobic right wing's outrage at how gays corrupt even the most pristine public officials in 3, 2, 1...

Abstinence education appears to not even work on the guys who vote for it. Also, Segami posted about a CSPAN caller from Yorkville who asked Hastert if they remember him, then laughed and hung up. Hmmm: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=6746576
