More Photos From Boston Including A VERY Speculative Possible "Suspect"

From the Daily Mail, the article is EXTREMELY speculative, take with a grain of salt. Also, I won't post graphic images but the link contains some graphic images.

AP: Ex-Wife Says Former SC Gov. Mark Sanford Trespassed

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — A lawyer says ex-South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford trespassed at his ex-wife's home and he has been ordered to appear in court two days after his special congressional election.

Documents acquired by The Associated Press Tuesday say Jenny Sanford confronted her ex-husband leaving her South Carolina home on Feb. 3. Her attorney filed a complaint the next day and she confirms the documents are authentic.

In them, she says he was using his cellphone as a flashlight as he left.

The couple's divorce settlement says neither may enter the other's home without permission.

Republican Mark Sanford is trying to revive his political career that was derailed by an extramarital affair that ended his marriage. He is running for the state's 1st Congressional District seat.

A spokesman says the campaign has no comment at this time.

Breaking reports are now saying they've uncovered 5 undetonated devices

Plus they are searching for a Penske truck that tried to gain access to the parade route but was turned away right before bomb blasts.

All I have is a breaking news tweet so far: https://twitter.com/mpoppel/status/323958080029220865

ETA: They're saying that the bombs appear to have shrapnel or BBs attached, and that the undetonated devices will help the investigation.

The NY Times is reporting three other unexploded devices, including one in Newton outside Boston

BOSTON — Two bombs exploded near the finish line at the Boston Marathon on Monday, leaving two people dead and dozens more wounded.

-snip-

Police officials said they did not yet have any suspects in custody. A person briefed on preliminary developments in the investigation said that members of Boston’s Joint Terrorist Task Force were at Brigham and Women’s Hospital interviewing a wounded man seen running from the scene of the two blasts, near 671 Boylston Street. The person said that police investigators had contacted the local gas and electric company and determined that the explosions were not related to gas or electrical service.

-snip-

The authorities also found a device at St. James and Trinity Streets that did not explode, the person said, and two other devices were found, including one in Newton, outside of Boston.

Not familiar with Boston metro, is Newton outside the marathon area? Could it be symbolic as in Newtown?

Tennessee: Ayn Rand’s vision of paradise.

If you’re worried about where America is heading, look no further than Tennessee. Its lush mountains and verdant rolling countryside belie a mean-spirited public policy that only makes sense if you believe deeply in the anti-collectivist, anti-altruist philosophy of Ayn Rand. It’s what you get when you combine hatred for government with disgust for poor people.

Tennessee starves what little government it has, ranking dead last in per capita tax revenue. To fund its minimalist public sector, it makes sure that low-income residents pay as much as possible through heavily regressive sales taxes, which rank 10th highest among all states as a percent of total tax revenues. (For more detailed data see here.)

As you would expect, this translates into hard times for its public school systems, which rank 48th in school revenues per student and 45th in teacher salaries. The failure to invest in education also corresponds with poverty: the state has the 40th worst poverty rate (15%) and the 13th highest state percentage of poor children (26%).

Employment opportunities also are extremely poor for the poor. Only 25% have full-time jobs, 45% are employed part-time, and a whopping 30% have no jobs at all.

So what do you do with all those low-income folks who don’t have decent jobs? You put a good number of them in jail. In fact, only Louisiana, Georgia and New Mexico have higher jail incarceration rates.

Bank forecsloses on grocery store, people line up to make use of the food...

Sheriff shows up and throws all the food out.

In a scene reminiscent of a Dickens' novel, police recently held back poor, hungry Georgians as the bank-owned contents of a supermarket were dumped into the garbage.

SunTrust evicted the owner of Laney's supermarket from the building it owned, according to WJBF News. On March 23, poor community members helped remove the contents of the building and clean it up. The store owner told them they could help themselves to anything. Then, this:

Tuesday afternoon, hundreds of people were waiting outside of Laney Supermarket... all hoping to stuff garbage bags with free food. The merchandise was piled up outside of the building after the store owner was evicted early Tuesday morning. But before anyone could grab anything, the Sheriff showed up.

"The normal process is once law enforcement leaves, it becomes public property. But again, with 400 people out with items such as these. These were brand new items from the store. We saw that the potential for a riot was extremely high," says Sheriff Richard Roundtree.

Umm...so you mitigate the possibility of a riot by taking food from hungry people and throwing it into a dumpster?
