USAFRetired_Liberal's Journal"I got it under Trump, but not Biden"
Thats what we are going to hear if the stimulus checks are targeted to lower income Americans while others who received the initial checks dont get it...and people dont pay attention to the details regarding congressional negotiations and trying to be bipartisan....all they will know and see is that we have a Democratic POTUS, Senate and House.
Once this Covid Relief bill is finally signed
Its going to be like the Obama 2009 stimulus bill all over again....watered down to appease a few Republicans and moderate Senate Democrats (for the sake of bipartisanship) that it is so diluted that it doesnt have the impact that was needed and most Americans wont notice a difference in their lives....then Democrats get blamed for doing it alone on legislation and get shellacked in the mid terms
Democrats are going to get blamed for doing it alone anyway, might as well go big so Americans can see positive impact
Speaker Dick Gephardt
Remember him?...me neither, and that will be McCarthys fate....I see the 2022 midterms being more like 2002 than 1994 or 2010.

A thing that Republicans do that Democrats need to do
Since I have been following politics (early 90s) Republicans have always created the Democratic boogey man....its currently the squad, Pelosi and Schumer....this past decade it was Obama, Pelosi and Reid ....in the early 2000s it was Pelosi....the 90s it was Clinton and Ted Kennedy....and every Democrat running for office (senator, congress, mayor, governor, school board, dog catcher) is the tied the boogeyman....We never go after Republican candidates like that, other then maybe tying them to Trump.
Changing the Target on the stimulus is stupid
Just heard on CNN that Biden is open to a more targeted stimulus checks....making this move just to appease a few Republican senators and to claim bipartisanship is dumb and a reason why Democrats did so poorly in 2010....pass the damn bill as is and let the Republicans cry partisanship and live with the consequences...Democrats will be rewarded for passing a big bill that helps Americans and the people who will cry partisanship will cry that anyway....but if you pass a watered down bill (I.e the 2009 stimulus bill) the Democrats will get blamed for passing a bill that didnt help and still get blamed for partisanship
Edit - before the Georgia runoffs, this had bipartisan support and oases the house with 40+ republicans voting for it, and in the senate there was 10+ Republican Senators who said they supported it...the only reason it didnt pass is because McConnell didnt let it go up for a vote....so I dont know why this piece if the legislation is now even debate
These responses to this tweet is exactly what I figured the would be
Bunch of racists making excuses for this guy.

2022 House Elections
Seems like the MSM and even Republicans think it's inevitable that Republicans are going to take back the House in 2022....But if you look at the 2020 election, they won all the toss-up races and some others that were lean Democratic. That tells me that the remaining Democrats are in safer districts and it will be tough for Republicans to win those....So all the toss-ups and leaners that they won in the last election is going to be their ceiling, and the Democrats could potentially win some of those back.
Republicans don't want bipartisanship or unity
Their plan until the midterms is fairly simple...first is to make things slow and stall, second is to filibuster and block, then when the Democrats finally pass something they will scream and fake outrage about Democrats not including them and being partisan.... it looks like Schumer and Pelosi are hip to their game, but geez I hope Biden isnt falling for it
But we need unity and bipartisanship
Just like we had on this bill
