Democratic filibuster vs Republican filibuster

I have been following politics for 3 decades and one thing that I keep on noticing is that when the Democratic minority filibusters bills, itís the bills where they had no say in and the Republican majority is just trying to ram it down and then when Democrats filibuster they call them obstructionist....but when the Republican minority filibuster bills is things that they had a say in and have actually watered down, but they still vote no, and they cry and complain that the Democrats werenít being bipartisan.....and unfortunately both strategies seem to work out well for them

So it could have been 54 ayes and 0 nays

And the bill would have still died....the filibuster needs to be changed

There at least needs to be filibuster reform

If manchin doesnít want to kill the filibuster, then he should at least make changes....two off the top of my head are making it require 3/5 of Ďpresentí Senators and also making it a talking filibuster...he is all about tradition, those two things were taken out in the 70ís so that would restore tradition....case in point, 9 Republicans missed the vote today...the final vote of 54-35 is 3/5.

If Joe Manchin really cared about saving our government

He would vote to end the filibuster, setup the Jan 6 commission, pass the infrastructure bill, and pass HR1....even if it cost him his seat in the next election..... heidi heitkamp, joe Donnelly, and Doug Jones showed more courage than him with their votes.

Just made a trip to Walmart

Yeah, I know that people that are vaccinated donít have to wear a mask, but why does it look like the people going around maskless are the same ones who were doing it before and are also the people who probably arenít vaccinated either. They all had the deplorable Trumper look to them

Even Rasmussen can't make the numbers bad

Yeah....I know itís Rasmussen so it should be taken with caution, but this is 3 days in a row from this outfit with Biden at +12.

Remember, Republicans like to project

So when they say that BLM and ANTIFA were the ones really behind the Capitol attack and that their people were peaceful....what they really are saying is that during last yearís protests against police violence that they infiltrated those pretending to be protesters and to cause a stir
