Watching Morning Joe guest Kirsten Rouse

Wow! What hyperbole….yes, the taliban is bad and some of our Afghanistan allies were left behind…but she is going overboard on what is actually happening…it’s ridiculous

Senate Democrats Face An Unfamiliar Campaign Problem: Major Primaries

The headline and article make it seem like it’s a bad thing, but I actually like competitive primaries. I think it makes the Democratic base aware earlier in the election cycle that there is an important election happening and gets them excited. And the candidates are able to build a get out the vote apparatus. Instead of the party trying to gin up support for a predetermined candidate a couple months out from the general. Political pundit always talk about a “bloody” primary hurting, but I go back to how in 2008 the primary between Obama and Clinton enthused Democrats and that energy stayed throughout the general. Heck, even the 2020 Democratic primary battle prepped the Biden campaign.

Clinton and Obama were re-elected

After Somalia and Benghazi just to put things into perspective…of course we didn’t have as much social media as we do now(it was there for Obama, but not like now), and Republicans are even more crazy and partisan (although they were crazy and partisan back then too)

This is what the Republicans and MSM have been waiting for

American deaths….they will pretend to care about them and hammer Biden as the cause for their deaths….but they really don’t care

Casualty vs fatality

People need to know the difference…I see people (including Congressmen) saying that Americans have died because they don’t know the difference.

What's really sad

Is that Republicans and the MSM are hoping for an American death in Afghanistan so that they can attack Biden even more.

Biden was damned either way

Option 1 - Withdrawal and have the Republicans, MSM, and others complain about letting the taliban win, creating a place for terrorists, leaving allies behind, etc…and see his poll numbers go down

Option 2 - Stay which would have led to the taliban attacking troops and us having to send more troops in and surge and still getting complaints from the same people, but this time saying that we can’t be the world’s police, why is Biden starting another war, this will breed more terrorists, our allies need to fight on their own, etc….and his poll numbers going down

Once this California recall is over

California Democrats have to change it. And they should have changed it once Jerry Brown became Governor in 2011.

#1 the petition should require more than just 12% of signatures of voters who voted in the last election (it needs to be around 25%), #2 if the recall is successful the Lt Gov should become Governor and finish the term or until special election is done to vote in another Governor……

the way it is done now a partisan minority can constantly try to recall a governor and be successful in getting a fringe candidate who becomes governor with less than 25% of the vote
