The man who kill the mobster truely believed he was part of the Deep STATE & was a Trump vigilante!!

The Deep state conspiracy is wide spread-by the likes of RW media, Trump and Hannity etc etc.

I do believe this vile propaganda has affected his mind and should be institutionalized for treatment for as long as it takes to deprogram him.
And we all know--others are affected--but just have not taken action --at this time. But remember PizzaGate!!

He Wasn’t Seeking to Kill a Mob Boss. He Was Trying to Help Trump, His Lawyer Says.

But court documents filed on Friday offered a glimpse into the deeply troubled mind of Mr. Comello, who his defense lawyer says was so deluded by internet conspiracy theories that he was determined to conduct a citizen’s arrest of Mr. Cali and turn the Mafia leader over to the military.

“He ardently believed that Francesco Cali, a boss in the Gambino crime family, was a prominent member of the deep state, and, accordingly, an appropriate target for a citizen’s arrest,” wrote Mr. Comello’s lawyer, Robert C. Gottlieb.

At times, the circumstances of Mr. Cali’s demise have seemed so outlandish that they appeared specially designed for these viral times. But a clearer picture is emerging of how the tale’s incongruous pieces — a mob boss, a drifter from Staten Island and a far-right conspiracy theory — may fit together.

Mr. Cali’s murder was the highest-profile mob killing in decades, an event so significant that in the days between Mr. Cali’s death and Mr. Comello’s arrest, speculation surged that a new war was brewing among New York’s five Mafia families.

The reality, according to his lawyer, appears to be even more bizarre: Mr. Comello had become convinced that Mr. Cali was part of the so-called deep state, a cabal of criminals that conspiracy theorists claim controls the United States government. Mr. Comello also believed he was a chosen vigilante of President Trump.

“Mr. Comello became certain that he was enjoying the protection of President Trump himself, and that he had the president’s full support,” Mr. Gottlieb wrote.

That delusion will be part of a package of evidence that Mr. Gottlieb says he plans to submit to the court that prove Mr. Comello is not guilty by reason of mental defect. Mr. Gottlieb is seeking to have the court place Mr. Comello in psychiatric treatment, rather than prosecute him on murder charges. Mr. Comello is being held in protective custody as he awaits trial.........................

Rashida Tlaib: Why I disrupted Donald Trump

Titles carry a lot of weight in today’s society. When meeting someone we ask who they are, their place of employment, and their title. Are you a mom? Are you in leadership? How do you identify? I have had the fortunate privilege of serving as a state representative for residents in the great cities of Detroit, River Rouge, and Ecorse. Yet, that’s not the title I was thinking about when I joined 12 other brave women, and interrupted Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump during his speech at the Detroit Economic Club earlier this month.

Instead the titles that ran through my mind were: American, parent, Muslim, Arab-American, and woman. As I thought about my identities, I felt more and more that confronting Trump was the most patriotic and courageous act I could pursue.

I have heard critics calling it unbecoming of a former state legislator. Well, I believe it is unbecoming of any American to not stand up to Trump’s hate-filled rhetoric and tactics. Growing up the daughter of Palestinian immigrants in Detroit, I was taught about how Walter Reuther, Coleman Young, Rosa Parks, Viola Liuzzo and other great Detroiters risked their lives for justice. I still remember at the age of 12, learning that segregation had been permitted only a couple of decades before I was born and that a woman’s right to vote was not even a century old. But it was great Americans who stood up, some dying for the cause, to make our country better.

Courteous behavior can’t be reserved for someone who labels hardworking Mexican immigrants who have come to pursue the American Dream as “rapists.” Social niceties are not in order for men who would turn away refugees fleeing for their lives based on their faith to have them suffer in camps. And complacency is not warranted for a presidential candidate who denigrates a mother and father who have lost their child in the ultimate sacrifice of military service.

I can’t describe the fear that gripped me when I rose in front of nearly 2,000 professionals at this tony, corporate setting. I watched as Trump supporters taunted the women who stood before me as they were aggressively and briskly led to the exits. I froze, feeling the anger around me that would make anyone tremble. Yet, I could only think of the unwavering love for my two sons to find the courage to do my own part..............................

............As a responsible parent who continues to reflect and read the criticisms of my actions, I think of my two boys and I remind myself: silence is not an option and it never should be.

Trump made 20 false claims at his North Carolina rally

Tapper: The President told a demonstrable lie 02:45

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump gave the second-longest speech of his presidency at his rally in Greenville, North Carolina, on Wednesday night, clocking in at just over 90 minutes.
He made 20 false claims, plus one, on the performance of 401(k)s, that we'll call misleading. Here is a list.

Crowds
..............................

................................
Democrats and human trafficking

"Human trafficking is the worst now throughout the world, because of the internet. It's the worst that's ever been. And the worst treated of all, children, but it's women, women. The Democrats want to do nothing about it," Trump said.

Facts First: It is false that Democrats want to "do nothing about" human trafficking. They have joined with Republicans in multiple Trump-era bills on the issue.

Trump is arguing that Democrats don't want to address trafficking because they oppose many of his immigration proposals, including a border wall. But that is not the same thing.
House Democrats introduced and voted unanimously for the Put Trafficking Victims First Act of 2019 and voted overwhelmingly for the Republican-introduced Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act of 2017. Presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren and Kirsten Gillibrand have both introduced legislation on human trafficking.
Later in this same speech, Trump himself said Democrats have voted for recent human trafficking bills he has signed: "I've proudly signed four bipartisan human trafficking laws, securing $400 million to support victims of human trafficking."

In a state as divided as America, the president pulled a crowd ready to unite around “send her back.”

July 18, 2019

GREENVILLE, N.C.—Whatever President Donald Trump was planning to do at his rally Wednesday night, the crowd outside Minges Coliseum was ready for it and ready to ramp it up.

More than three days after President Donald Trump triggered national outrage with tweets telling four Democratic congresswomen of color to “go back” to the countries “from which they came,” the feeling among the throng mustering in the sweltering heat at East Carolina University was that the president had ample rope before he even came close to offending them.

The best-selling “MAGA” merchandise, perfectly parroting and even amplifying his taunts on Twitter, indicated just how much latitude he enjoyed.

“LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT.”

“LET ME HELP YOU PACK!”

“BUILD THE WALL DEPORT THEM ALL.”

“FUCK OFF WE’RE FULL,” said one of these sorts of shirts, the design of the letters contorted into the shape of the United States of America. It was prominently displayed in the tent of sweat-drenched Glenn Wilcoxson, who had come from his home in Hudson, Florida. “Four left,” he told me, “out of—I don’t know—a lot.” It was a special offering, all his own, envisioned by him, his wife and his daughter, its timing the opposite of accidental. “We go by news cycles. We’ll design what’s going on in the news,” he said.

The vendors and the snaking line of voters—they were pumped up and primed for the rally and for what would be the essence of its message. Inside, barely 15 minutes into his hour-and-a-half stemwinder, Trump gave the people what they wanted:
“The four congresswomen,” he said. The capacity crowd in the venue of 8,000 seats booed on cue. And then Trump named the women, starting with the only one of them not born in this country. “Representative Ilhan Omar,” he enunciated. He talked about the Minnesota lawmaker originally from Somalia, and only her, for the better part of five minutes, portraying her, a U.S. citizen since she was 17, as an anti-Semitic, America-hating sympathizer of terrorists..............................

“Send her back” is where racism and authoritarianism meet

This viciousness isn’t an accident. It’s what Trumpism is really about.

“Send her back! Send her back! Send her back!”

It’s hard not to feel chills when you watch the video of a Trump rally in North Carolina where this chant, directed at Rep. Ilhan Omar, breaks out. The president, in the middle of a diatribe against Omar, pauses and looks out as the crowd chants — not smiling, exactly, but doing nothing to calm the chanters or quiet their refrain.

That moment, the chant demanding that a naturalized citizen and member of Congress be “sent back” to her native Somalia booming through an audience of thousands, put on display the particular fusion of racism and authoritarianism that defines Trumpism as a political movement.

“Send her back” is not the first such chant to break out at Trump events; it follows “lock her up,” the ritual demand from Trump supporters that Hillary Clinton be sent to jail. Together, “lock her up” and “send her back” demonstrate beyond doubt that the law, in the Trumpian view, is a vehicle for punishing political enemies and minority groups.

In the Trumpian imagination, political opponents are not mere rivals but existential threats aligned with anti-American elements (read: immigrants and minorities) in a bid to undermine everything they cherish about America. As such, Clinton and Omar should not merely be defeated in an election; they must be crushed. If that requires abusing the power of the state and twisting the law to do so, so be it.

This authoritarian impulse, cross-bred with bigotry, has helped birth some of the worst excesses of the Trump era — from the Muslim ban to family separation to the failed attempt to circumvent the courts and place a citizenship question on the census. Such behavior has been made possible and permitted by the Republican Party, whose leaders either are willing to tolerate Trump’s authoritarian white revanchism in exchange for tax cuts and Brett Kavanaugh or, worse, actively agree with it.

Trump’s attack on Omar appears to be a preview of his broader 2020 strategy. There is every reason to expect things will get worse.
What “send her back” and “lock her up” have in common.
