I still get a thrill coming around that bend on northbound I-71-75 and seeing

Cincinnati in front of me.

And, yes, there are definitely neighborhoods that give one pause when driving through.
All in all, we really don't know what a gem we have.

I use cottage cheese instead of milk in

my scrambled eggs.
It seems to make the eggs a little creamier.
But then, I like cottage cheese, with perhaps a little French or ranch salad dressing. One can also buy cottage cheese with shredded pineapple mixed in. Any manner of fruit will be fine. Also a dollop of fruity preserves.
Cottage cheese is really quite versatile.

I visited twice, and wouldn't mind going again,

even though there's still much of the lower 48 I would like to see as well.

Pope Francis usually has something to say on any and all subjects.

He's not exactly the silent type.

This article reminds me of the Glenmary Home Missioners, a Catholic Society

of priests and brothers, founded in 1939 to establish Catholic mission churches in what used to be called "No-Priest Land", which consisted mainly of counties in the south. The group is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.

When a parish became well-established, it was/is returned to the diocese in which it is located.

How appropriate to be reminded of true patriotism on this day

July 4, 2012.
Thank you, and RIP, Mr. Hackney.

It may also be a good idea to write letters to the editor in those cities and areas

you are likely to be in.

Example - I would have the need to drive through Georgia at least twice a year. Georgia is a fairly lengthy state so it requires a number of hours to traverse.
With these new laws in place, I am wary of stopping there, even briefly; I have very often made overnight stops, which include hotels/motels as well as restaurants.

I think the owners/managers of businesses which depend on tourists/visitors should be made aware of how they may be impacted by this law. Perhaps local Chambers of Commerce as well.

Safe and secure travel is important.

Jesus was a refugee, fleeing with his parents into Egypt.

Would He be welcome here?

Many Jews in our area volunteer their services on Christmas Day

so that Christians can be free to celebrate their holiday/holyday.
