You are my hero, Kozar.

Scrambled egg made with cottage cheese rather than milk, with shredded cheddar cheese

mixed in;
1 Slice of toasted oatmeal bread with butter and Smucker's strawberry jam;

We don't know that he actually went into the brother's room.

He may have just gone to an area where the family and new widow were gathering. Or could have viewed him through a glass-enclosed wall., etc.
Likely, brother Robert was not conscious when 45 arrived.

Incidentally, Robert just remarried in the spring. Perhaps putting things legally right with the knowledge that death would soon come a'knocking.

I agree, Larissa. I resolved the day after election 2016, that I would not let him have the power

to occupy my life and energy in such a way to take my peace from me.

I've not become totally successful in that endeavor.
But, frankly, my family and those that I love and care for, as well as the rest of my life concerns and interests are more important.

Life is too short to let others take control of your feelings.
I'm way up in years, could just sleep away at any time.
He's not worth it.
I'd rather live my life without the misery of such a person in my thoughts.

Gen Honore' is a treasure.

He has clear, practical, reasoned answers to the problems posed every day by the Trump presidency and administration.
He is a true leader with a history of results.

I look forward to Dr. Jill Biden as First Lady and hostess. She is so gracious and warm and smart.

What a refreshing change that will be. She is such an asset to Joe.

I understand that she expects to continue her work in education.
That will be an interesting balancing act, but, if anyone can do it, she will!

I've given my postmen smallish Christmas gifts over the years - boxes of candy, cookies, etc.

A few months ago I met my mail deliverer at the door and gave him a jar of Planter's peanuts, and a compliment. He said, "I'm just doing my job." I told him, "You do it very well."
And he does do it very well.
