Teabagger Perry Outraged About Explosion

Noooo, not about the lack of regulation surrounding the explosion, but about a cartoon that eviscerates his low regulation, no gubermet economic policy.

snip:
The cartoon in Thursday's edition shows Perry crowing that "Business is Booming," flanked by signs saying "Low Tax!" and "`Low Regs!" It's a play on the Republican's often-repeated mantra that his state's low-regulation, business-friendly climate has its economy humming."

Perry doth protest too much.

Cheney's criminal family-another chapter

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/04/25/chris-hayes-explains-how-dick-cheneys-son-in-law-deregulated-chemical-plants/

snip:

“Fast forward to 2007, and Philip Perry — again, Dick Cheney’s son-in-law — is at the Department of Homeland Security as general counsel. What he managed to do in an appropriations rider is slip in industry friendly language into the bill that moves the task of regulating chemical plants from the Environmental Protection Agency to the Department of Homeland Security. But DHS is given none of the tools it would need to do that.”

Cheney's son-in-laws turns our nations chemical plants into IEDs. Par for that family.

Newtown parents inconvenience Senator Collins

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/13/susan-collins-newtown-victims-obama-dinner_n_3076181.html

snip:

“I was 45 minutes late for dinner with the president of the United States," she said. "Everybody was seated when I got there, because I spent time talking to the parents and the family members of those who were killed at Newtown. I told them I had a dinner with the president but that I was deliberately being late.

Collins inconvenienced for 45 minutes. Parents inconvenienced for the rest of their deceased children's lives.

Just another reminder why I hate republicans.

Donahue Speaks the Absolute Truth

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/04/08/phil-donahue-bush-used-other-peoples-kids-to-prove-hes-tough/

snip:

Donahue had some particularly harsh words for former President George W. Bush and former Vice President Dick Cheney, who both pushed for the Iraq war.

“These are the guys who can’t wait to prove their tough and use other people’s kids to make the case,” he remarked. “The more you examine this, the more you are just outraged by the hypocrisy

Chickenhawks will fight to the last drop of someone else's blood.

Filibuster Cowards and Gun Proposals

"We asked all 14 Republican senators for an interview about their filibuster threat, but none of them were available,"

Rethug intransigence will kill Americans

Many countries don't have the resources to care for it's citizens, and that's a terrible situation.

In our country we have the resources but refuse to spend them on our own citizens--that is down right evil.

Debt Ceiling Deadenders

Rethugs and Teabaggers are wrapping themselves in debt ceiling dynamite prepared to blow up the economy and downgrade the U.S. credit rating, again.

snip:

"But House Republicans have already said they would be looking for a deal to cut a dollar of spending for every dollar increase in the debt ceiling. That sets up a fight with Democrats, who will likely push for a clean extension that does not require spending cuts."

Ahh, the joy of living in Teabagistan.

Broke, too bad, go directly to jail

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/04/05/aclu-accuses-ohio-courts-of-enacting-debtors-prisons/

snip:
“Today across Ohio, municipalities routinely imprison those who are unable to pay fines and court costs despite a 1983 United States Supreme Court decision declaring this practice to be a violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution,” the ACLU’s report said."

America today--the poor get the jail house, the rich get the bail out.

Hannity says don't fire Rutgers coach, dad hit me with a belt and I'm ok

Ah, yeah.

Seems to me then Hannity should have gone through with that voluntary water boarding for charity he signed up for in the past, but subsequently passed on. Dad would have approved.

Exxon off the hook in oil spill

http://crooksandliars.com/susie-madrak/exxon-hook-paying-cleanup-fund-guess-

snip:

"The great irony of this tragic spill in Arkansas is that the transport of tar sands oil through pipelines in the US is exempt from payments into the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund. Exxon, like all companies shipping toxic tar sands, doesn’t have to pay into the fund that will cover most of the clean up costs for the pipeline’s inevitable spills.”

(bold my emphasis)

Here we go, privatize profits, socialize losses, Arkansas pay up.
