1000 posts. Yay!!

I joined on the day President Obama was reelected. It has been a great experience. My thanks to all DUers for their incisive thoughts and opinions and look forward to continued discussions in the years to come.

Vile Tweet Attack Against Wendy Davis

Kincannon has enlarged upon early Republican attacks on Davis, insinuating that because she supports a woman’s right to choose, she must be a promiscuous, man-eating tramp. Calling her a “coke whore” and insinuating that she cheated on her then-husband, Kincannon wrote, at one point, “I don’t care if folks attack Wendy Davis unfairly. I just want her attacked.”

I see this as warming up the water for really vile attacks on Hillary Clinton if she runs. These attacks are likely to make the Whitewater and Monica attacks look extremely tame by comparison.

Lifestyles of the Rich and Contemptible

They want high-security buildings where their identities are protected, complete with panic rooms and stockpiles of food and water in case of emergency. In case there’s a Third World meltdown, they want a First World stronghold.

I used to think only rats, roaches and syphilis would survive a nuclear war. Unfortunately, I think have to update that list with these wretched sophists.

GOP three headed response to the SOTU speech

I was betting on Moe, Curly, and Larry (apologies to Stooge fans in advance). However, these Rethug three are even more hilarious.

Ex Secretary Gates with protective neck collar

Caught Gates on TV yesterday. Noticed he was wearing a large neck collar. I can only surmise he had the condition known as ratwhiplash, which is defined as very rapidly turning on a sitting President for the lofty motive of lining your pocket leading to spinal injury.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo says gun-loving pro-lifers not welcome in New York, right explodes

Right-wing media figures of all stripes are outraged that New York Gov. Chris Cuomo (D) said that New York state is no place for “extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay” Republicans.

At least Gov Cuomo states out loud who is unwelcome in his State. By Teabagger Governor's actions which people are not wanted in their states?: women, Hispanics, African-Americans, homeless vets, disabled vets, the LGBT community, the middle-class, the poor, the very poor, really-anyone not of the one percent, the insured, those insured by the ACA, Rachel Maddow, the informed, the educated, the Dixie Chicks, atheists, anyone for reasonable gun legislation, George Carlin on youtube, union members, anyone who can remember the New Deal, Keith Oberlman, those people who benefit from the Voting Rights Act, Bill Maher, pregnant women, well, my list is not exhaustive, unfortunately.

Christie's Questionable Conduct Over The Years

15 Chris Christie Controversies You Missed

6. Reckless driving
In 2002, driving a rented BMW Sedan, U.S. Attorney Christie injured a motorcyclist when he tried to turn the wrong way onto a one-way street. He was not issued a traffic ticket, despite his less-than-stellar driving record, which includes at least six accidents and 13 moving violations.

Listed above is just number six on the fifteen hit parade. For me the totality of these actions indicates a person suffering from an attitude of entitlement, prone to bullying, feels he is above the law, and would never be caught. Gee-I can't see how that atmosphere has anything to do with jamming the GW bridge.

No Free Lunch Rethug Bills Taxpayers for his food

A Georgia Republican who suggested school children do cafeteria work because there’s “no such thing as free lunch” billed thousands of dollars for his own meals to taxpayers.

These despicable hypocrites wonder why we utterly despise them.
