Turned on TV this story and defaulted to last night's station and was rewarded with Horrifying Faces

Upchuck Toad and Luke "the Smarm Bro" Russert.

I almost embedded myself with NBC "News" by nearly throwing remote through TV.

Restraint. A good thing.

What is the quarantine period for 1 percenters suspected of affluenza?

Lifetime confinement in a Dollar Store?

Right Wing Fawning Over Ray-Gun

Every now and and then I hear or see another rethug screed touting that Union busting, lying, policy by astrology, no-nothing, and insult to chimpanzees everywhere Ray-Gun.

It is simultaneously depressing and infuriating.

Just venting. That is all.

With Quote Stealer George Will It's Stupidity Not Ebola That Is Airborne

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/10/21/1338183/-George-Will-thinks-Ebola-could-be-airborne-because-he-is-misinformed

snip:

Appearing yesterday on Fox News Sunday, Will explained to his incredulous co-panelists that Ebola is actually far easier to transmit than the authorities are letting on:
"The problem is, the original assumption was that with great certitude, if not certainty, was that you need to have direct contact, meaning with bodily fluids with someone, because it's not airborne. There are now doctors who are saying, we're not so sure that it can't be in some instances transmitted by airborne

Actually, if I was in the same room with Will I would be in full Hazmat getup. My concern would be his obnoxious bloviations would contaminate me with his chicken hawk, 1 percent justifying, pearl clutching, anti-poor, anti-women, commentary and force me to decontaminate myself with a gasoline can and Zippo.

With the Rethugs it used to be the 3 Gs: Guns, Gays, and God. Now it's the 2 Ds

Disenfranchisement

Dark (money)

Likely actions if Shrub was Prez when Ebola hit:

1. Haliburton would have all government contracts.

2. Shrub would have ignored initial cases by dismissing them as the "trots."

3. His ranch would be shrink wrapped in plastic and duct tape. Furnished by--see No. 1 above.

4. His comments would have included, "I didn't know Freedonia was in Africa in our hemisphere and I thought ebola was a computer bowling game."

5. The terrorist alert color system would be going off like Chevy Chase's Christmas house.

6. Cheney would still go to Texas and shoot somebody in the face.

7. Bin Laden would be getting the blame because he would still be out there.

Fear the coming plague that is...

the Rethugs taking over the Senate. They would own the Senate, the House, the Supreme Court, Fox News, and Talk Radio.

Hey,wait a minute. I thought there were only 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Well, maybe the Four Dumb Asses of the Klown College.

Ebola, you got nothing on this line up?

Germany Eliminates College Tuition--U.S. Students Drown in Debt

http://crooksandliars.com/2014/10/germany-eliminates-tuition-while-americans

snip:

Germany has just joined other nations of the Continental European Union to eliminate all university tuition, as a human right. So it is that we find ourself as part of the neofeudalist American state that has left Americans, by contrast, mired in $1.2 trillion in student loan debt, in what must be described as state-supported student loan slavery. It should further be noted that the modus operandi of student loan enslavement is consistent with the anti-democratic model of what may only be described as the United States of oligarchy. A recent Princeton university study, that has since gone viral from Princeton, has declared the United States is no longer a democracy, and has in fact become an oligarchy. To which this article notes, it is an oligarchy that has mired the American people in $1.2 trillion of student loan debt. This has become so onerous for the American economy to bear that it is now become a threat to the US economy itself.

In Germany a student you get a hand up, in the U.S. students get handed an anvil.
