Watching the archival footage of the NAZIs burning books in Germany in the 1930s as a way to suppress enlightened thinking gave me pause the other night. I wonder if today we face a different kind of suppression. Rather than burn books and media, what reactionary forces do is "flood the zone" with Info Wars, Drudge, and Faux News to the extent that any rational, fact-based media is not burned, but drowned.

A tsunami of BS to the extent that "my opinion" has more merit than your "facts."
