who tries to claim it is somehow unpatriotic to kneel is himself an established traitor who conspired with a foreign dictator for money to steal an election. He is therefore illegitimate, and not qualified to pass any sort of judgment.
Just a humble opinion here, but l think we ignore his obvious duplicity
at our own risk. He tries, and often succeeds, to frantically turn everything negative and disgusting about himself to his own political ends by continually blurring the line between fact an fiction, while feeding talking points to his base. Just as pretty much everything he accuses others of, he himself is doubly guilty if the facts are revealed. It is all part of the strategy of him morphing into a autocratic ruler with an iron fist around the rule of law.
It is becoming increasingly scary for all PoCs. Also more difficult
to convince oneself that this is not politically and morally normal. Helps to remember we are better than the Putin puppet who kept, according to what his first wife told her divorce attorney, a copy of Mein Kampf in his bedside cabinet.
Makes a lot of sense, and fits in with Putin's geopolitical ambitions. I
also suspect Putin will financially destroy tRump’s goal of becoming a billionaire like the oligarchs he so worships.
I have family members who voted for tRump, and despite the overwhelming
evidence that he is devoid of any standard of decency, they continue to vehemently support him. Every conversation l have had with them, because l am a PoC, had me wondering what do they really think of me as a person? The breaking point was them referring to someone else standing by me in a family photo as “looking almost white.” Now I’m free of that burden. Made it plain l saw through the thin veneer of social hypocrisy that disguised their disgusting racism and patronizing conversations.
