Personally I think this is the lesser of two evils. The question in my mind is regardless of any efforts to increase spending or investing by the wealthy, who among them shall try to open a business with war as front page news? How can we ever expect the rich to actively seek the opportunity for more wealth if we are constantly in an unpredictable war state?
Who would dare to invest in a business with cold war rhetoric dominating the news, and WMD mentioned in every other article?
This I feel negates any positive steps we may try to take to improve our economy. Which is a long winded way of saying although I think the Fed's move is logical, it cannot "work" under current circumstances.
As long as the wealthy are building bunkers to survive in we will not have any chance at a recovery.
How Effective Has "Peace through superior firepower" Been?
As we watch the new details unfold between the US and Russia concerning the Syrian crisis a valid question seems to arise. Has technology leveled the playing field to the degree that peace through superior firepower is no longer possible? Have weapons technologies surpassed the original intention of this military position? Have we reached a point in time that will force the US to reconsider this position?
How well has this policy actually served the US?
There Is No Way a Booty Can Call You - The Long Lost Art of Marriage
Are you logical? Do you like to have fun? Have you ever made a booty call or received one? I do not believe I have. There is no way a booty can call you. This is non sense, this "booty call" you speak of.
On the other hand it does bring to mind a rather absurd and pointless question. Why is your momma on my lips? Clearly Eminem was under the affects of some very crude form of drug when he wrote this.
Yes, my question. Do you believe we as a society are losing interest in marriage? Do you think thanks to booty call we no longer wish to be married? Marriage is the foundation of a civilized society, do you believe there are reasons to expect the numbers of married people to decrease over time?
What do you think? I'm right, right? There is no way a booty can call you.
Is the Syria Crisis Nothing More Than a Distraction from the NSA Revelations?
It's a simple question that might be worth considering that I would like to ask of you this morning. Do you feel the Syria crisis is nothing more than a distraction from the fact we as a nation have been subjected to a breech of privacy unlike any this country has ever seen before? Has the Syria crisis been exploited to draw attention away from Edward Snowden and the loss of privacy in our country?
Will Syria make the NSA scandal seem like a long lost tape of OJ Simpson driving around in a white Bronco?
What do you think, is the situation in Syria a blown up distraction from the REAL issues facing the US today?
Why Do We Intervene in the Middle East?
Typically on Sunday morning I wake up with more questions than answers. In this case after having a lengthy conversation with a friend over dinner, I have walked away with two things. A very satisfying and flavorful meal as well a few questions that seem worthy of consideration.
Why is the US concerned about the events that take place in the Middle East?
Is our presence and intervention primarily based upon our need for oil? Or is this intervention based on religious foundations that we simply cannot back away from?
Do you believe we intervene mainly due to the fact WMD are readily available to those who would like to see the destruction of our country? Implying if we do not intervene we will be subjected to the potential use of these weapons?
What do you believe is the main reason we get involved?
Bonus question: Would you consider the colonization of Mars a sign our leaders have concluded we will need to find a habitable zone for our species as a result of an inevitable world wide nuclear war?
Was the Introduction of Crack Cocaine the Downfall of the United States?
It's a simple question, that may or may not have a simple answer. Do you believe the introduction of crack cocaine in the late 80's has led to the financial and mental suffering of the three generations to follow?
Is it possible this single item has caused more damage to the US than any other non war time act? How you might ask? By simply connecting a generation of people who have been desensitized to the affects of drugs and alcohol by role models such as Cheech and Chong, with the most addictive drug known to man crack cocaine in 1985. Systematically destroying the lives of millions of people who would go on to become parents.
Today we see the effects of this epidemic in a generation of young pill addicts who were more than likely raised by parents of the crack generation.
Today we are far more likely to read about another drug bust at a local pharmacy than a crack cocaine shipment being discovered. Still the question remains did the influx of crack in the 80's preclude the slow steady decline in the youth of our country, leading to the thrill kill mentality and pill (Molly) epidemic we have today?
Bonus question: How and why did the crack influx originate?
Finally if you do not agree crack cocaine had any long lasting negative effects to our country, how do you explain the thrill kill, pill popping youth of today?

Selective retention, and selective perception make it impossible for the GOP
The republican's have no direction because they are reading from a playbook that has been left behind. Most republicans... not all employ a psychology called selective retention or selective perception which prevents them from being able to acknowledge evolution and time has changed the society they cannot control. This is the reason it is impossible for the rep. to produce a winning campaign. They refuse to accept the steady progression of new era's. imo.
You cannot win Super Bowl 49 by reading from the playbook that was in affect during Super Bowl 10.

I think it's absurdly funny to watch millions of people kick his azz up and down the street in a self righteous display of personal judgement and social justice. Coordinated by a group of people who coincidentally spend 88 billion per year on the porn industry today. That my friend is an awful lot of hypocrisy. The question may be why do as American's love to see other's fail? Why will we not allow him the opportunity for redemption? Why do they hate Tim Tebow?
