Do you believe this? 20K Mass. and 42K Florida Democratic change reg. to Republican?

Has anyone else seen these stories, do you think they are true or they cover stories for election theft?

Trump Phenomenon: 42,000 Florida Voters Flee Democratic Party, Republicans Gain 37,000

In what many political analysts are calling the 'Donald Trump Phenomenon,' over 42,000 Florida voters have left the Democratic Party in the last six months leading up to the deadline to register to vote in the Florida Presidential Preference Primary, according to figures released by the Florida Division of Elections.

"Thomas Piketty credits Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders with waking the larger

American political establishment up to the problem of rising income inequality and channeling the Democratic electorate’s righteous outrage."

“Because he is facing the Clinton machine, as well as the conservatism of mainstream media, Sanders might not win the race,” Piketty observes, but, “in many respects, we are witnessing the end of the politico-ideological cycle opened by the victory of Ronald Reagan at the 1980 elections.”

Thomas Piketty says Bernie Sanders can “change the face of the country”

It Really Doesn't Matter if Hillary Clinton Is Dishonest: Article from Washington Post

When I read this I wondered if they are serious or if this is some snarky political attack.
The actual article from the Washington Post.
--------------------

Calling someone dishonest is one of the most serious political insults in the United States. The country has been obsessed with its politicians' honesty at least since President George Washington's first biographer popularized the tale of him hacking at the trunk of a cherry tree. "I cannot tell a lie," a young Washington supposedly said when confronted about the damage.

Now, with less than a week until the Iowa caucuses and with Bernie Sanders advancing in the polls, Hillary Clinton still hasn't been able to clear away the accusations of dishonesty that have clouded her campaign. At the Democratic presidential town hall on Monday, a Sanders supporter noted that it's a reason Clinton has struggled to attract young voters: "I've heard from quite a few people my age that they think you're dishonest," he said.

Here's the thing, though: There was no cherry tree. Washington's biographer apparently fabricated it. "The great founding myth of American political integrity, chopping down the cherry tree, is, in fact, itself a lie," said Martin Jay, a historian at the University of California at Berkeley and author of a book called "The Virtues of Mendacity."

Koch Brothers Grand Plan to Liberate the Poor......... by offering free stuff

From the Washington Post.

The other day I noted that the Koch brothers were funding a new effort to win over Latino voters to the Republican Party by offering them an array of community services, combined with a healthy dose of conservative anti-government re-education programs. This might not work, I argued, since Latino voters tend to agree with the Democratic Party on economic and health care issues, in addition to immigration, raising questions as to why telling them that government is bad for them would prove particularly persuasive.

More here:

I feel comfortable saying the Kochs were very supportive of the effort that destroyed ACORN, and now they have turned themselves into the saviors of the poor. I don't think the article mentions it, but I bet they are busy registering their new targets as Republicans.

I am thinking of them as the Salvation Army of the poor, but instead of having you join a prayer for your soup you sign a Republican voter registration form.

A new poll shows a big split among Iowa Democrats — and among Iowans overall

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2015/11/25/a-new-poll-shows-a-big-split-among-iowa-democrats-and-among-iowans-overall/

Happy news for the Clinton family as they prepare to sit down for a nice private Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, just Hillary and Bill and Chelsea and her husband and their daughter and each family member's communications lead and assistants tasked with tracking each of the main dishes and sides and pollsters who can kibosh things that don't test well in New Hampshire and the film crews looking to capture normal, everyday Hillary Clinton. Oh, and the Secret Service agents. Cozy family meal.

That good news? Clinton's lead in Iowa has held steady in Quinnipiac University polling over the last month. The school's new survey of the Democratic race shows that Clinton's lead over Bernie Sanders is about what it was when they polled in October -- a marked improvement over the month before that.

That's one pollster, mind you. The Real Clear Politics polling average shows the sort of positive trend that Clinton doesn't want to see.

Are Open Carry Protestors Fueling Fear Outside a Texas Mosque?

http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/USA-Update/2015/1122/Are-open-carry-protesters-fueling-fear-outside-a-Texas-mosque

Are open carry protesters fueling fear outside a Texas mosque?

The arrest of 14-yar-old Ahmed Mohamed for bringing a handmade clock to school brought attention to Irving, Texas, but tensions between the Muslim community and Texans who fear 'Islamization' had simmered for months.

Gun-toting anti-Muslim activists held a protest outside the Islamic Center of Irving, Texas, on Saturday, raising tensions in the former town of "clock kid" Ahmed Mohamed, where rifts between a Sharia-fearing public and a growing Muslim community have been highlighted by Mayor Beth Van Duyne's calls to ban the mosque's mediation panels.

Police were on hand in the Center's parking lot, with SWAT teams on standby, to allay worshippers' fears as roughly a dozen armed activists, some in face masks, lined the sidewalk. One carried a sign reading "Stop the Islamization of America."

Organizer David Wright, who cited the Paris attacks and rumors of Syrian refugees coming to Texas as reasons for the protest, said he had brought his 12-gauge shotgun because "We do want to show force," according to the Dallas Morning News. "It would be ridiculous to protest Islam without defending ourselves," he said.

Imagine if a group of armed Muslims were protesting outside a Christian church in the U.S.A.

Why are all these conservative publications promoting Hillary on ISIS?

Brooks' column is a few days old, but the trend in today's push is clearly pro Hillary from an MSM that generally is 100% anti-Democratic anything and everything.

First NY Times' David Brooks, the top of the heap in conservative punditry, praises Hillary for an entire column.

Today's hot topic from our conservative Democratic hating media seems to elevate Hillary as the choice for promoting the "war on terrorism"

If we are to be known by our supporters.....

One Man's Plan to Expand Cheap Housing and Make Money Doing it. (Converting tax money to profit)

But remember we used to have public tax paid housing and didn't have to provide a profit for an already wealthy individual.
Undoubtedly these are same tribe of men who spent the poverty program funds distributed as "block grants," for their own "urban renewal" tax money for profit only schemes during the seventies and eighties.

While many of the earlier public housing funds were used to create segregated areas in the largest cities, there were for a time in the late fifties and sixties very low cost housing in even small rural communities in nearly every county in this nation.
Those have mostly vanished since the voucher for public housing and nothing has replaced the quantity of housing once provided but the spending has increased to provide profits for the usual few and no housing for the many.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-11-19/one-man-s-plan-to-expand-cheap-housing-and-make-money-doing-it

On a recent afternoon in Prince George’s County, Maryland, a bleak economic trend met a tantalizing investment thesis.

Inside the community center at the Regency Pointe Apartments, a complex of 599 units set in low-slung buildings about 20 minutes from Washington, nurses from a nearby medical clinic were screening residents for cholesterol and high blood pressure. Just outside, a Zumba instructor was leading two dozen neighborhood children in an exercise class. A uniformed Sheriff’s Department officer looked on, chatting with residents and tracking police radio reports that a suspect wielding an AR-15 assault rifle was wandering nearby streets.

It's part of an effort by Turner Impact Capital, which acquired the property in June, to make money for investors while keeping rents stable for low-income residents. At Regency Pointe, the typical renter earns less than 80 percent of the area median income, and the average two-bedroom costs less than $1,200 a month.

Since launching the Santa Monica (Calif.) investment firm last year, Bobby Turner has used a two-pronged appeal as he seeks to raise $300 million to sink into affordable housing, from investors that include the University of Michigan endowment fund and Citi Community Capital, which invests in community development for Citigroup.

The pitch: The fund will help fill a pressing need to preserve affordable apartments in places such as Prince George’s County, where four out of 10 renters spend more than 35 percent of their income on rent. At the same time, it will target returns of 10 percent to 12 percent.
