Insert obligatory "Nostradumbass" joke here.
Yes, I could see this one from Alaska. I'm usually not one to Told-Ya-So, but I did, despite my accurate prediction being derided as an extremely far-fetched scenario by the high-brow Foreign Policy magazine. Heres what this stupid insipid woman predicted back in 2008: "After the Russian Army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama's reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence, the kind of response that would only encourage Russia's Putin to invade Ukraine next."

Church Anti-Gay Sign In Harlem: "Obama has released the homo demons on the black man..."
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/26/atlah-church-anti-gay_n_4860972.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular
Called the ATLAH Worldwide Missionary Church, the religious organization is led by Dr. James David Manning, a man who has been outspokenly critical of the Obama administration and the progression of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights over the course of the past six years.
The sign reads: "Obama has released the homo demons on the black man. Look out black woman. A white homo may take your man":
The sign was reportedly inspired by the above video, in which Manning makes some jarring statements about both gay culture and black culture -- though these extremist statements from the pastor of ATLAH are nothing new. In explanation of ATLAH's sign in the above video, he tells viewers,
This is devastating what Obama is doing to the black man and the black woman, and how the white homo is now moving into the black neighborhoods looking for black men that have been converted into homosexuality. But black woman let me say something to you: you have a very hard time competing against a white homosexual male. He's usually got money -- a white homo usually has an American Express card. He usually has an opportunity at the theater -- homos love the theater. They love to go out to dinners, parties, they love that kind of a thing... black people need to rise up in mass and recognize the utter destruction that Obama is going in to destroy the black family with these homosexual statements that he has done and release of demons.
WOW, I never saw THIS coming: "Verizon CEO Wants To Charge You More If You Use Too Much Internet"
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/27/verizon-ceo-net-neutrality_n_4860652.html
Netflix streamer? File sharer? If Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam gets his way, you may soon start paying more for broadband.
At an investor's meeting on Monday, McAdam used his closing comments to clarify Verizon's position on net neutrality, or the rule that internet service providers (ISPs) should treat all types of web traffic equally.
"I think it is only natural that the heavy users help contribute to the investment to keep the web healthy," McAdam said. Those "users" could be companies that use a lot of bandwidth -- like Netflix -- or even individual consumers -- like people who stream a lot of Netflix. Essentially, McAdam's saying that if you're using too much Internet, you should pay up.
"Some who stream a lot of movies and use data-intensive applications may pay a bit more," Verizon spokesman Edward S. McFadden told HuffPost when asked about McAdam's comment.
Rick Perry Vows To 'Continue To Fight' After Texas' Gay Marriage Ban Ruled Unconstitutional
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/27/rick-perry-gay-marriage_n_4866510.html
Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) vowed to keep fighting after his state's ban on gay marriage was ruled unconstitutional.
U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia made the ruling on Wednesday. Perry argued the ruling was an attempt to "achieve via the courts what couldn't be achieved at the ballot box" in a statement:
Texans spoke loud and clear by overwhelmingly voting to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman in our Constitution, and it is not the role of the federal government to overturn the will of our citizens. The 10th Amendment guarantees Texas voters the freedom to make these decisions, and this is yet another attempt to achieve via the courts what couldn't be achieved at the ballot box. We will continue to fight for the rights of Texans to self-determine the laws of our state.
Garcia said the decision was made "in compliance with the U.S. Constitution and Supreme Court precedent." HuffPost's Ryan Reilly reports Garcia chose to quote from Scalia's dissent in the landmark 2003 case Lawrence v. Texas, which struck down the state's anti-sodomy law, in his ruling.

Ace Frehley on RRHOF: "I'm not gonna get on the stage with Tommy wearing my makeup. That's absurd."
"This is understandably an emotional situation where there is no way to please everyone," band says
Kiss announced today that the band won't be performing at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in April because disputes over the lineup churned up ill will among the members.
"This is understandably an emotional situation where there is no way to please everyone," Kiss said today in a statement on the band's website. "To bring this to a quick end, we have decided not to play in any line-up and we will focus our attention on celebrating our induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame."
Frehley revealed to a New York radio station on Friday night that the original lineup would not be performing at the ceremony, and said that he was not willing to perform alongside the newer members. "I'm not gonna get on the stage with Tommy wearing my makeup. That's absurd," he told Q104.3 FM, according to Blabbermouth.net. In a statement on his own website, Criss said that he and Frehley "have been denied a performance with Gene and Paul for our Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction," and called the situation "disgraceful."
According to the band's statement, however, there was no plan to exclude Frehley and Criss from the performance. "Our intention was to celebrate the entire history of Kiss and give credit to all members including long time present members Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer, and additionally Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr all who have made this band what it is, regardless of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's point of view," the statement said. "It is over 13 years since the original lineup has played together in make-up and we believe the memory of those times would not be enhanced. Contrary to claims made through the media we have never refused to play with Ace and Peter."

In the Nathan's in the Food Court at the MGM Grand in Vegas, ONE hot dog costs NINE BUCKS.
Saw that the MGM Grand had a "Food Court" with McDonald's, Nathan's, and a few other places...that's pretty much my current budget, BUT I was SHOCKED to see that ONE Nathan's "Quarter Pound Hot Dog" costs NINE BUCKS (I abstained).
I'm used to buying packaged Nathan's hot dogs for around 5 bucks and I normally wait until they have a "buy one, get one free" sale. That means that for the same nine bucks, I can get TWO packages of dogs and rolls to go with them...sixteen frigging dogs for the same price as one in the MGM Grand.
Vegas...you've gotta love it.

Forgiveness
I just extended an olive branch to my sister, after 10 years of silence. She accepted and told me she had "tears in her eyes."
If I could do it, you can do it too.
Life is short. REALLY short. Put on the big boy / big girl pants and forgive the people you believe have "wronged" you.
It's like removing an elephant from your back.
Trust me on this.
