During an interview with Fox News host Eric Bolling, Trump opined on the danger facing U.S. troops stationed in South Korea.
Nobodys safe, the president said. I mean, whos safe? The guys [Kim Jong-un] got nuclear weapons. Id like to say theyre very safe. These are great brave soldiers, these are great brave troops and they know the situation. We have 28,000 troops on the line and theyre right there.
And so nobodys safe, Trump added. Were probably not safe over here.
If he gets long-range missiles, were not safe either.

"Amazing for the country"
"He likes playing on his soccer team in New York, they're all of his friends."
Trump laments familys heavy burden, criticism from media
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/apr/30/donald-trumps-family-bears-burden-president-says/
There is no question, it is a big burden on the family, the president said in an Oval Office session.
Since the inauguration, Mrs. Trump has been criticized for just about everything, including her glamorous official portrait and her decision to live primarily in New York City until Barron finishes the school year.
Shes been terribly abused by the press, really unfairly, the president said. Shes a high-quality person. Shes been amazing for the country.

I have a son whos a very young boy he just turned 11, Mr. Trump said. Hell be taken away from his school and be put into a brand-new school. He likes playing on his soccer team in New York, theyre all of his friends, and you know hell be taken away from that team. We didnt want to do it in the middle of a season.

It reportedly costs the New York Police Department between $127,000 and $146,000 a day to protect the first lady and her son, and the Secret Service last month requested an additional $60 million in funding to protect the president and his family.

Whole Foods may finally lower its pricesin the hopes of shedding the nickname "whole paycheck." The company, which, according to the Wall Street Journal, is in the midst of "its longest stretch of same-store sales declines since going public in 1992," has appointed Don Clark, a former Target executive, to help lower the prices.
To do that, the company will shift away from its localized model, which stocks artisanal ingredients and produce from local farmers and move toward a more national model with a smaller variety of items on shelves. However, a quarter of shoppers said in a recent survey that they shop at Whole Foods precisely for access to these products they can't find elsewhere.
The team says the new approach will balance those two directions but doesn't specify how precisely or how much prices will drop. Stay tuned.

We dont want to work with him: Democrats vow to defy Trump and obstruct his agenda at every turn
http://www.rawstory.com/2017/04/we-dont-want-to-work-with-him-democrats-vow-to-defy-trump-and-obstruct-his-agenda-at-every-turn/
Democrats in Washington are shifting into full no mode with regards to President Donald Trump and his agenda, according to a Sunday report at Politico.
Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate along with Democratic governors told Politico this week that they see Trump as weak and not in control of his party. Trump, they say, is personally and politically erratic and not worth the risk of compromising with, especially when their constituents are urging them to block the former reality TV game show hosts ever-shifting agenda.
Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) said that Democrats dont particularly care about whos up and whos down in the White Houses internecine battles nor do they feel that anything will spur them to compromise with the floundering executive branch.
There is zero chance of any of this working out that way, and it doesnt matter who youre changing, said Gallego. At the end of the day, this is Donald Trump, and we dont want to work with him.

Donald Trump Keeps Up Charade That He Might Release His Tax Returns

President Donald Trump, who has all but ruled out disclosing his tax information, claimed on Sunday that he could release his tax returns soon, following the completion of a routine IRS audit.
It could happen soon. I dont know, he said in an interview on CBS Face the Nation. I think its pretty routine, to be honest with you. But then Ill make a decision.

Last week, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin declared that Trump has no intention of releasing his tax returns, which he repeatedly promised to do while running for president but falsely claimed that he couldnt because hes being audited.
The IRS has said that nothing prevents individuals from sharing their own tax information, including being audited.

We don't have a lot of closers in politics, and I understand why: It's a very rough system. It's an archaic system.
You look at the rules of the Senate, even the rules of the House but the rules of the Senate and some of the things you have to go through it's really a bad thing for the country, in my opinion. They're archaic rules. And maybe at some point we're going to have to take those rules on, because, for the good of the nation, things are going to have to be different.
You can't go through a process like this. It's not fair. It forces you to make bad decisions. I mean, you're really forced into doing things that you would normally not do except for these archaic rules.
I think, you know, the filibuster concept is not a good concept to start off with, he said

Trump backer Paris Dennard: Calling Trump a moral midget and a needy little baby "is not helpful"
http://www.rawstory.com/2017/04/trump-backer-explodes-when-cnns-paul-begala-calls-president-as-a-moral-midget-after-rally-speech/
Hes a needy little baby, Begala remarked before adding, Were going to wait one thousand three hundred and sixty-one days and hes still going to be the moral midget that you saw on that stand tonight.
***
That kind of rhetoric, constantly beating at the drum, every single day, 24/7, that is not helping America, (Former White House staffer and Trump backer Paris) Dennard excitedly said. And when Paul listen I did not like 98 to 99 percent of what President Obama did, but I would never call him Obama and I would never call him a moral midget or a needy child even if I thought the two things about him were true.
You sit here and attack the president with these horrible things saying about him personally, and say, Well, Mr. President or Trump, you are doing the same thing, Dennard continued. You have to some kind of honesty about
That is honesty, Begala shot back. And youre wrong, my friend. You respect the office and not the man. I respect the office, if he enters the room, I stand. If he signs a law, I obey. He is my president. But he is letting me down and a vast majority of Americans.
