Senatorial Democrats asking me support our "so called"
democratic Senator for 2016.
I suppose that I was pretty rude, because I told the guy
that if Bennet voted for the Corker bill and if he supports
the TPP, there was no chance for me to even vote for
him.
I thought that perhaps the message would get through,
or is that in itself an illusion?
Colorado could be again a purple state, but I don't see
what difference it would even make anymore.
I heard on the McLaughlin group
that he will be fine with HRC or Bush.
What do you think this opinion implies?
What upsets me is the demands for money
from different democratic senators and even the National
Democratic Campaign for the HRC campaign on my e-mail.
First of all she has all the bank and corporate money,
Secondly I hope we get other candidates to run for 2016,
and Thirdly they make her out as the inevitable choice.
Thus I have cancelled all of those sites and will
continue to do so with the explanation that I shall
wait for other Democrats to enter the race.
If they will keep doing this I may just refuse
to support anyone.
Three questions with regard to the Iran agreement
Is it true that the Corker bill has already 65 supporters?
What does the bill actually say?
Is it only up to the Congress to lift the sanctions?
I am sure that there are DU members, who can answer
these, and I would greatly appreciate it.

in these countries?

Senator Bennet's office to ask him not
to sign on to the Corker bill. He is one of the
few Dems willing to do so, and this could be
the vote to override any POTUS veto.
He got into the Senate due to Obama's help,
perhaps it helps to remind him of that.
A totally different question regarding HRC's e-mails
Now she is a private citizen. Does she have to go to
that stupid committee if she gets a supena(?) from
it to appear?
Can she just hire a lawyer to represent her?
I realize that most of us would have to go, but
is her case so special that she could evade it?
What are the rules for a reasonable refusal? I think
that this is exactly what is planned, and wonder
about the problems coming possibly with it.
Question about the true powers of our POTUS
and I don't even mean our present one.
Considering the power of the MIC, NSA, CIA, and even the FBI
do you really believe that our presidents still have the power
to control even one of those agencies?
Possibly the FBI, although I doubt it. All of these agencies
seem to control "any possible problems" via internal
investigations, i.e. they actually are able to protect themselves
to the fullest without any serious public disclosure.
I don't believe that Hoover was the only one to use his power
during that rather more simple time (regarding tech advances).
I just wonder how many people feel the same kind of worry
as I do. BTW the Congressional oversight did not seem to
work either, considering that we were only allowed to get a
few pages of the CIA report concerning torture.
The real question here is who or what is considered democrat/ic.
Perhaps we have to consider what the party stood for and
what it seems to stand for right now. Naturally there will
be differences in opinion.
If it stands for the third way it is definitely on the wrong
track as far as what the party has defended up to Carter.
If it says "s/he who has the money should be supported"
then we might as well vote for the CEO of Goldman-Sachs
or the Koch brothers directly.
If the party chooses our candidate for us, instead of
supporting different candidates, something has been lost.
And surely I am not the only one who has seen that.
Winning at all cost is a motto that defies all principles,
and will lead to certain loss of justification on ethic and
moral grounds, and sooner or later to a total loss as
long as we may call this still a democracy.
All attacks on people for voting one way or another
are rather silly. How anyone votes is still somewhat secret
no matter, what people announce here, and I for one take
this only as a form of declaring his/her wishes.
So lastly the question remains what does it mean to
be a democrat in comparison to a Democrat, and
should that definition be allowed to be so far apart
as it seems to be right now.
I have a question about marihuana seeds.
Yes, I live in Colorado, and thus I am allowed to grow a few
plants. And no, I am not using it at this point, but am very
curious about it.
It is described to be a weed, but what does that mean? Is it
very easy to grow from seed? I read that it is an annual, can
one get the seeds from the plants for the next year?
Can one grow it inside or does it have to be outside?
I could go tone of our shops for the info, but since I don't
intend to buy anything, I rather don't.
I don't intend to insult anyone here, but I really would
like to know a bit more, especially about the medicinal plants.
