Ex-Benghazi investigator sues Trey Gowdy for discrimination and defamation 11/23/15 08:31 AM

Source: MSNBC Ari Melber

Ex-Benghazi investigator filing lawsuit, 11/23/15, 9:13 AM ET

A former investigator for the House Benghazi Committee filed a federal lawsuit against the committee Monday, opening a new chapter in legal skirmishes over the Benghazi attacks and subsequent investigations.

Last month, Brad Podliska, an Air Force Reserve major, alleged the Benghazi committee terminated him based on his military obligations and his refusal to advance an agenda targeting Hillary Clinton. Now, Podliska is detailing those charges in court in a new filing that alleges Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy broke the law by defaming him in their public battle over Podliska’s firing.

Gowdy previously said Podliska was terminated partly for mishandling classified information.

The suit cites Gowdy’s claim from a press release and an interview with NBC News, and argues it was a damaging line of attack, since allegations of such a “serious crime” have “ended the careers of many professionals in national security-related industries.”

But the charge was totally false, the suit says, because the information Podliska handled was drawn entirely from “sources from the Internet.” Podliska adds that the committee staffer who made the allegation later admitted the material “was not classified.” The committee has not withdrawn the allegation.
MSNBC Breaking News..20 minutes ago Ari Melber was given a copy of Fed Case Papers being filed today by Podliska against Trey Gowdy.

Melber saying this case reveals Gowdy's intent for the Clinton investigation was pure political to stop her campaign. It also reveals a timeline showing Gowdy's intent to stop Clinton began long ago.
This opens the door to a major investigation against the political corruption by Team Gowdy against Clinton.

Melber saying this is just the beginning and its not going away anytime soon.

HRC GROUP "Very difficult for Bernie to go forward post-Paris." MSNBC/CHRIS KOFINIS

MSNBC just now.
Chris Kofinis, Democratic strategist, saying his focus group has bernie at very little chance of winning NH & Iowa. If he can't win both of those his campaign is over.

He is strong on domestic issues but is cornered in a box with ISIS terrorism threats because it is his weakest area, & unfortunately for him, that is what most people are concerned about right now.

Also says Bernies whole point about his IRAQ NO VOTE that he keeps making just doesn't have the same resonance with people anymore.

"Very difficult for burnie to go forward post-Paris."

********************************

HRC is a true leader & this proves it. As President one has to be prepared & ready to deal with whatever comes your way.
An effective Leader MUST be able to immediately address an issue like Paris & what the US's role is, present & long term.
This is where public confidence in bernie sanders drops him off the Presidential map.

"Ghost Security differentiates itself from the vast and often disjointed hacktivist collective Anonymous, which has also declared war on ISIS and claims to have taken down pro-ISIS Twitter accounts. A handful of members were previously part of Anonymous, including one of the leaders, who goes by the name "DigitaShadow." He says Ghost Security is small and more focused.

"We have structure and leadership," he told CNNMoney. "We also have a lot of counterterrorism experience. We have translators, linguists, research analysts on hand to analyze all the data that we receive."

Dalai Lama re: Paris. "“We cannot solve this problem only through prayers”

Snip
"Speaking to Germany’s state-run media outlet Deutsche Welle yesterday (Nov. 16), the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize winner said people should not expect God to stem the horror and tragedy of the Paris attacks. He advocated instead for a “systematic approach” to foster harmony and humanistic values.

We cannot solve this problem only through prayers. I am a Buddhist and I believe in praying. But humans have created this problem, and now we are asking God to solve it. It is illogical. God would say, solve it yourself because you created it in the first place.

We need a systematic approach to foster humanistic values, of oneness and harmony. If we start doing it now, there is hope that this century will be different from the previous one. It is in everybody’s interest. So let us work for peace within our families and society, and not expect help from God, Buddha or the governments.

His response to the Paris attacks echoes remarks he made in 2003 about the Sept. 11 attacks in New York two years earlier, in which he said the “real antidote” to terrorism is compassion and dialogue—although he suggested then that violent countermeasures might be necessary to fight terrorism."
