Anyone notice every Repub calling Ted Cruz a "smart guy?"

Specifically that phrase - "smart guy." Like when there was a period of a couple months or so when Mitt Romney was constantly referred to, specifically, as a "family man." Republicans must've gotten a memo about Cruz.

How much of a non-story will the lack of GOP at Selma be?

I'm shocked they can't even make it look like they care. How hard is it for GOPers to be there, planned months in advance? How little will the media report on this extremely telling story?
