I believe there were estimates of how much it would have cost to rid the buildings of this asbestos but I don't have time to search right now. IIRC - more than the buildings were worth.

Here is a temperature breakdown from the NIST WTC 7 NCSTAR Final Report. Max temp in 7 per NIST was 900 Centigrade, 1650 F. But that was only a small area. Most temps were around 400-600 C. Temp of Self Cleaning Oven- 500 C.

Panasonic Clean Energy Solution

...Assuming that a society where hydrogen is supplied to each home will be realized in the near future, Panasonic is working to develop a pure hydrogen-type fuel cell that allows us to produce electricity directly from hydrogen with high efficiency and low cost. We have installed prototype devices inside "Yume Solar-kan Yamanashi", Komekurayama in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, a field test site for renewable energy and next generation energy, and conducted electricity production performance tests from 2012. We are planning to continue with this field test.

As part of developing future technologies, we are currently studying a solar hydrogen generation technology (photocatalyst) that produces hydrogen from water, by using our proprietary photocatalyst technology and renewable energy, namely sunlight. We are exploring every possibility of hydrogen production technology, including using the Energy and Environment New Technology Pioneer Program, a program funded by Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), and aim to realize the technology by around 2030. Research is also underway to develop a high-density storage technology...

Game Changer: Panasonic Solar Panels Make Hydrogen

Panasonic moves closer to home energy self-sufficiency with fuel cells
Asahi Shimbun | August 02, 2015

Panasonic Corp. said it has developed a catalyst that uses sunlight efficiently to extract hydrogen from water, a technology that could lead to energy self-sufficiency in homes powered by fuel cells.

The company said it tested photocatalysts consisting of niobium nitride that can absorb 57 percent of sunlight, a rate far more efficient than the titanium oxide photocatalysts used today that absorb only ultraviolet rays, which constitute 4 percent of sunlight.

Using this catalyst, Panasonic plans to develop products, such as panels similar to solar cells, for installation on rooftops. These products in turn will create the hydrogen that fuel cells use to generate electricity...snip

First journalist to drive LA>SF on California's Hydrogen Highway

Welcome to California's hydrogen highway- A clean future is a gas, gas, gas

The Sunday Times UK |Nick Rufford | 30 Nov 2015

THE LOUDEST thing you’ll hear from behind the wheel of a fuel-cell car driving up the Californian coast is the hum of the tyres on the concrete interstate stretching north from Los Angeles towards Silicon Valley and San Francisco.

There’s no rumble of a big American engine from under the bonnet, no growl from the exhaust. These are things of the past. The only emission this hydrogen-powered Hyundai Tucson produces is water — so pure you can sip it from the tailpipe. Welcome to the future. It’s mute...snip

...In two weeks, the first phase of the hydrogen highway — a 400-mile stretch — will be complete when a station halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco opens. Last week, with special permission, The Sunday Times completed the journey in a fuel-cell car, the first media organisation to do so.

The Harris Ranch refuelling stop near Coalinga is the crucial missing link between stations in Los Angeles and the Bay Area of San Francisco. Hyundai — one of the big companies leading the charge into hydrogen — says the stop could jump-start the technology in California and mark a tipping point for its adoption elsewhere, including Britain...snip

PC World: Hydrogen Fuel cell keeps drones in flight for hours, not minutes

Martyn Williams | IDG News Service | Dec 15, 2015

A British company says it may have a solution to one of the most frustrating issues of drone flying: short battery life.

In tests, a DJI Matrice 100 drone fitted with a hydrogen fuel cell from Intelligent Energy was able to stay in flight for more than an hour—significantly longer than the 20 minutes available with its standard battery.

Hydrogen fuel cells convert hydrogen gas into electricity through a chemical process that has water vapor as its only by-product. The fresh fuel comes in cartridges, and because swapping out a cartridge takes a matter of seconds, the drone can be back up in the air quickly when it gets low on fuel.

“There’s an obvious barrier in battery life, and we saw an obvious need to increase that,” said Julian Hughes, head of the company’s consumer electronics division, in an interview...snip

I'm with Tulsi

Jul 23, 2015: Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) calls for common-sense labeling of GMO foods and urges colleagues to vote against the Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act, also known as the Deny Americans the Right to Know (DARK) Act, which would roll back years of progress in ensuring that food with genetically engineered ingredients is properly labeled.

"The DARK Act actually stands in direct contradiction to the wishes of almost 90% of Americans across the country. This legislation makes a mockery of transparency and leaves U.S. consumers in the dark."

Abby Martin: The Empire Files - The U.S. School That Trains Dictators & Death Squads

Dec 5, 2015

On November 22, thousands gathered at the gates of Fort Benning, GA at the 25th annual protest of the School of the Americas to memorialize the tens of thousands of people who lost their lives at the hands of the U.S. Empire’s brutally repressive juntas it used to rule Latin America by force.

The dictators and death squad leaders, who committed acts of genocide, were trained within the gates of Fort Benning, at the School of the Americas – otherwise known as the “School Of Assassins.”

Abby Martin investigates this notorious school that is largely hidden from the American public; it’s crimes around the world, it’s star graduates, why it exists and the movement to shut it down.

Democratic congresswoman warns Obama could drag the US into a'devastating nuclear war' in increasingly complex Syria crisis

A Hawaii Representative has warned the US government that President Barack Obama’s decision to put American fighter jets that can ‘target Russian planes’ on the border between Turkey and Syria could start a ‘devastating nuclear war’.

Democratic Rep Tulsi Gabbard’s comments came after Defense Secretary Ashton Carter told Congress on Tuesday that the United States is sending additional special operations ground forces to Iraq in its ongoing fight against the Islamic State terrorists.

Gabbard said the fighter jets, along with Obama’s opposition to Russian-backed Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, could lead to a nuclear war.

‘Russia’s installation of their anti-aircraft missile-defense system increases that possibility of - whether it’s intentional or even an accidental event - where one side may shoot down the other side’s plane,’ she told Carter, according to the National Review....
