Are white people that aren't racist, but not comfortable voting for a minority welcome in the party?
Are these people, perhaps, telling us that we need to nominate a, hypothetically, old white guy? In order to get their support, I mean. Asking for a friend.
Didn't have to see that piece of shit Goodlatte's name on a ballot for the first time in a long time
I am hoping we flip that seat blue today! Lines were way longer than usual at my polling place in a deeply red county....won't be sure what that means until results come in tonight. Virginia is getting a little bluer with each election.
When my son goes out, I tell him to be careful and be smart. I worry about his safe return.
When one of my daughters goes out, I am terrified. One of my daughters is taking a bus home from college for her Fall break. It is about a 5 hour bus ride. Here is what I tell her:
1. Don't talk to anyone on the bus.
2. Don't talk to anyone at the bus stop.
3. Don't leave the area immediately around the bus.
4. Don't go to the bathroom at the bus stop.
5. Make sure you phone is fully charged. Leave it on at all times.
Paranoid? Overboard? Maybe. But I won't relax until she is at home.
Trying to, in any way, equate what women face and what men face when it comes to their well being in public or private is facetious bullshit. Thats my .02.
I will fucking explode.
The guy that gets away with it. No repub will vote against him. I feel helpless rage.
Doesn't it? How can anyone survive this?
Everything I have read about Kavangaugh and his buddy Judge is spot on to many of those guys. I would add that many of them were good upstanding guys.
That statement I read today is completely believable to me. I've known guys like that.
We're in crazytown," John Kelly quoted in Woodwards new book.
She's about to fuck some shit up.
