So apparently on Facebook you can use the word"ni@@a" while making fun of Barack Obama,

but I can't call someone a stupid racist. I hate Zuckerberg.

Dagnabbit! I have to stop partaking in legal marijuana.

I'm applying for a new job and even though I have a prescription and would NEVER go to my job high, I have to test clean. It really sucks because I have it for my arthritis and it really helps. So, for the next few weeks I have to take potentially harmful ibuprofen to alleviate my pain. Ugh.

Zuckerberg puts the Jan. 6th insurrection blame squarely on trump.

In his introductory remarks, Zuckerberg rejected responsibility for fomenting the riots, pinning the blame squarely on Trump and a "political and media environment that drives Americans apart."

Zuckerberg said Facebook "did our part to secure the integrity of the election. And then on Jan. 6, President Trump gave a speech ... calling on people to fight."

Queue Right Wing Indignancy in 3,2,1...

Now watch the right wingers heads explode. They will try to start a boycott of Sesame Street and then bitch and complain about "cancel culture".

Sesame Street to add 2 Black Muppets; discuss racial literacy

"Sesame Street" is introducing two new Muppets, a Black father and son, as part of an effort to help children understand racial literacy.

The two Muppets, Wes and Elijah, were introduced in a short video created by Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind the long-running show. In the video, Elmo wants to know why Wes's skin is brown, so his father Elijah explains the concept of melanin and how "the color of our skin is an important part of who we are," according to a press release from Sesame Workshop.

Sesame Workshop also released a music video to the song "Giant" where the "Sesame Street" Muppets celebrate their "own unique identities." Another video featuring Rosita, her mother and her friend celebrates speaking Spanish and shows the Muppets helping Rosita cope after a racist incident.

Any Elder Scrolls Online players ?

I play on the pc and my wife plays on her x-box. I play a wood elf warden level 830 and am a master crafter.

I like this game a whole lot better than World of War craft. It's more complex and I love the crafting aspect.

Power shift: Several dramatic changes in American capitalism are all coming to a head.

The most dramatic change in American capitalism over the last half century has been the emergence of corporate behemoths like Amazon and the simultaneous shrinkage of organized labor. The resulting imbalance has spawned near-record inequalities of income and wealth, corruption of democracy by big money, and the abandonment of the working class.

All this is coming to a head in several ways.

Next week, Amazon faces a union vote at its warehouse in Bessemer, Alabama. If successful, it would be Amazon's first U.S.-based union in its nearly 27-year history.

Conditions in Amazon's warehouses would please Kim Jong un – strict production quotas, 10-hour workdays with only two half-hour breaks, unsafe procedures, arbitrary firings, "and they track our every move," Jennifer Bates, a warehouse worker at Bessemer, told the Senate Budget Committee last week.

To thwart the union drive, Amazon has required Bessemer workers to attend anti-union meetings, warned workers they'd have to pay union dues (wrong – Alabama is a so-called "right-to-work" state that bars mandatory dues), and intimidated and harassed organizers.

Why is Amazon abusing its workers?

The company isn't exactly hard-up. It's the most profitable firm in America. Its executive chairman and largest shareholder, Jeff Bezos, is the richest man in the world, holding more wealth than the bottom 39 percent of Americans put together.

Amazon is abusing workers because it can.

Fifty years ago, General Motors was the largest employer in America. The typical GM worker earned $35 an hour in today's dollars and had a major say over working conditions. Today's largest employers are Amazon and Walmart, each paying around $15 an hour and treating their workers like cattle.

I'm increasingly disturbed and disappointed at how many here are defending sexual harassment.

If there were reports and pictures of a Democrat in black face or using a"slant eyed gesture" or telling racist jokes, would you hold him to the same standard?

A hostile working place is a serious matter, whether it is sexual harassment or racism. We are Democrats, not republicans.
