!!!Please Read!!!

As many of you know, I've been pushing hard to raise funds for my service dog. Today, I want you to ignore that and please take a look at this!

A family friend's 3-month baby just passed away due to SIDS. As you can imagine, the family is heartbroken. The last thing they need to worry about is financing the cost of burying their little baby boy.

Please, ignore my fundraiser post and just check out this one. This family needs help. Please check it out!

!!!THE PUPPIES ARE HERE!!!

The puppies have arrived! I am really excited at this point. In 8 short weeks, I will be flying to Kansas to pick up my future Service Dog!

[IMG][/IMG]

What does this mean? It means I need your help more than ever! I need help raising awareness and bringing attention to my fundraiser. I would like to meet my fundraising goal by May 1st. I need your help to do that! Now to share with everyone the cost breakdown and where your money is going. Of course, I don't expect everyone to pay for everything. I'm asking for help if you are able. I receive SSDI and I contribute what I can every month.

Where is your money going?

> $1,200 for puppy from JLS Dalmatians http://www.jlsdals.com
> $350 for a round trip ticket from Cincinnati, Ohio to Wichita, KS to pick up the dog.
> $500 for standard obedience and good citizen training and certification from CCDTC in Milford, Ohio http://www.ccdtc.org
> $1,500 for up to 18 months of Service Dog training at Wagmor Service Dogs in Tipp City, Ohio http://www.wagmorservicedogs.com
> $$$$ unknown amount for transportation to/from training, food, training vest, etc.
>$$$$ Veternarian, microchip, shots, health check.

I will provide receipts for all money used. This will be a completely transparent fundraiser. If you ever have any questions, please ask!

Service Dog Fundraiser Update

Message of the Week:
!!!DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!
Service Dog Purchase and Training

Ok guys, big update today! As of this moment, we have raised $1,010.00 for my service dog. Two money orders totaling $700.00 have been sent out to the breeder which leaves a balance due of $500.00 for the dog. The rest of the money is pending transfer to the fundraiser's account at NCB Bank.

This is my first fundraising update since being hit by a drunk driver in Hillsboro, Ohio this week. I'm still sore and hurting in my back but I guess that's normal. I received all of my paperwork from my doctor this past week and have signed contracts with the dog breeder and the SD trainer. With the the exception of the auto accident, it has been a great week! I know that I wouldn't have made it this far without the help of my supporters. For that, I thank you! It means more to me than you'll ever realize!

Now, I ask that you continue to share these updates and help me bring awareness to my campaign. We are officially 1/3 of the way there. Can you help me take it even closer? Thank you all for everything you've done for me and my family. Without you, this would not be possible!

I was hit by a drunk driver this morning. Updated w/ pics from Dash Cam

Just an update. The driver had a court hearing today about the OVI. He was a no-show so they issued a warrant for his arrest.

Edit: now don't hate me for doing this, but they say there's no such thing as bad press and well, I figure this situation doesn't have to be all bad. For those of you that didn't know, I'm raising money for my Service Dog's training. I will be bringing him home on May 3rd. I just received my official documentation and prescription yesterday. So in hopes of spreading awareness, I'm posting this here. https://www.gofundme.com/ServiceDog4Jeremy

I'm all about transparency as well. If you would like to see where you're money is going, I have copies of all the money orders and receipts. Thank you all again!

It's been a rough day. I had just mailed out a money order for my service dog. I left the post office, and this guy almost pulls out in front of me. Thankfully, I missed him. I drive no more than a half mile and stop at a traffic light. Next thing I know, the same guy is flying up behind me. He stomps his brakes and his car turns completely sideways, then BAM! It was enough force to drive the rear bumper on my Durango into the rear wheels. My trailer hitch took a lot of the impact but also caused the frame to bend. Thankfully, my dash cam caught it all. Before the squad took me, I popped the SD card out of the dash cam and put it in my wallet. I found out later that the guy was drunk, had an open container, and some type of narcotics in the car. He also didn't have insurance. So for now, no vehicle for us. I thought I had uninsured motorist coverage. Turns out, I have underinsured motorist and uninsured motorist injury only. I hate insurance companies.

So for tonight, I'm just going to lay here and nurse my head and neck. They're still really sore.

Watching Westminster Dog Show on CNBC

The dogs are beautiful but I can't help but wonder if there's a street dog somewhere chuckling to himself about all of the hoopla.
