Hamas leader Mushir al-Masri described the slaughter as a 'heroic act'

In a statement, Hamas praised the synagogue attack as a 'heroic act', saying it was a 'response to continued Israeli crimes, the killing, desecrating al-Aqsa (mosque),' a reference to a recent incident at the holy site. It also called for a continuation of 'vendettas'.

Hamas leader Mushir al-Masri said that the slaughter of the worshippers was a 'natural reaction' to the death of 32-year-old Palestinian bus driver Yusuf Hasan al-Ramuni, who was found hanged in his vehicle on Sunday.

Police said there was no evidence of foul play, blaming his death on suicide, with their findings backed up by a post-mortem.

Both the Israeli and Palestinian pathologists who performed an autopsy at the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute, agreed that it was a suicide.

But colleagues and family said there were signs of violence on his body, claiming he was murdered.

France: At least 1 Frenchman in Islamic video

A 22-year-old French convert to radical Islam appears in a propaganda video showing a beheaded American aid worker and the deaths of Syrian soldiers, a Paris prosecutor said Monday.

Prosecutor Francois Molins identified the man as Maxime Hauchard, one of at least three young Europeans believed among the cold-eyed fighters on the video as the extremist Islamic State group tries to portray itself as an international movement.

Molins said Hauchard has been on the radar of French authorities since he left for Syria in 2013 and another Frenchman could also be among the fighters in the video but it was too early to tell.

President Barack Obama confirmed the slaying of American aid worker Peter Kassig after a U.S. review of the video, which also showed the mass beheadings of more than a dozen Syrian soldiers.

The overwhelming majority of Islamic State fighters are from the Mideast, but the extremist group is trying to cement its claim on an Islamic empire straddling Iraq and Syria. Europe appears to be a fertile ground to find Islamic State supporters, with officials saying thousands of young Europeans have headed off to jihad.

The two activists were reportedly supporters of renegade general Khalifa Gaftar who fights extremist groups alongside the army. The two victims are Mohammed Battu and Sirak Qath, who were abducted on November 6. Their bodies were found Tuesday by residents in Derna.

The city is controlled by the Islamic Youth Council, which has set up an Islamic tribunal and already carried out executions.(ANSAmed).

Religious School Teaches Kids to Idolize Bin Ladin.

A hardline cleric in Pakistan is teaching the ideas of Osama Bin Laden in religious schools for about 5,000 children. Even while the Pakistani government fights the Taliban in the north-west of the country, it has no plans to close schools educating what could be the next generation of pro-Taliban jihadis.

"We share the same objectives as the Taliban but we don't offer military training. We work on minds. The Taliban are more hands-on," says Abdul Aziz Ghazi, imam of Islamabad's controversial Red Mosque.

"We teach about the principles of jihad. It's up to students if they want to get military training after they leave here. We don't discourage them."

Ghazi runs eight seminaries - madrassas as they are known - the first of which was founded after his father went on a journey to meet Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan.

Militant Group in Egypt Vows Loyalty to ISIS

They have slaughtered hundreds of Egyptian soldiers and police officers, recruited experienced fighters and staged increasingly sophisticated raids from the Western desert to the Sinai Peninsula. They have beheaded informants and killed an American in a carjacking, say Western officials familiar with intelligence reports.

On Monday, Egypt’s most dangerous militant group, Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, also pledged obedience to the organization that calls itself the Islamic State, becoming its first significant international affiliate in the bet that the link will provide new money, weapons and recruits to battle the government in Cairo.

The affiliation could pull the militant group away from its current, almost exclusive focus on attacking Egyptian military and security forces toward the Islamic State’s indiscriminate mass killings of civilians. The pledge alone could undermine the government’s efforts to win the trust of Western tourists, a vital source of hard currency.

The decision injects the Islamic State into the most populous and historically most influential Arab nation, a milestone weeks into an American-led bombing campaign against its strongholds in Syria and Iraq. The endorsement is a major victory for the Islamic State in its rivalry with Al Qaeda — a group with deep Egyptian roots — and could now help recruit fighters and affiliates far beyond Egypt.

Saudi Arabia Arrests Prominent Female Human Rights Activist

A prominent human rights activist has been arrested by Saudi Arabia on charges of insulting Islam. Suad Hamour al-Shamari, an advocate for women’s rights and the co-founder of the Saudi Liberal Network along with Raif Badawi, is being held in a Jeddah prison, according to a tweet sent out by Badawi’s wife.

Two other human rights activists, who requested anonymity, confirmed the arrest and accused Saudi authorities of engaging in a campaign to silence all dissent.

"This is the accusation they make against anybody defending human rights," said one of the activists.

Saudi Arabia has a history of detaining and convicting liberal activists ranging from human rights lawyers to demonstrators.

Amnesty International, a London-based human rights watchdog group, said that Saudi authorities "have sought to stamp out all critical voices demanding peaceful reform."

IS: 'By the End, We were Killing Everything and Everyone, Including Women and Children'

Most battles began with a wave of suicide bombings.

However, after the battle, ISIS fighters routinely murdered innocent women and children.

He said that prisons in Raqqa were filled with 'enemies' of ISIS, but that included fighters who had broken the terror organisation's strict rules.

Almouthanna told Fox News that he made his decision to leave following the five-week battle for Markada.

He said: 'By the end, we were killing everything and everyone, including women and children in surrounding villages or left in the town.'

Almouthanna denied that he was involved in killing innocent civilians although admitted that if ISIS ever found him he would be execut

ISIS shuts down schools in eastern Syria

BEIRUT: ISIS has shut all schools in areas it controls in eastern Syria pending a religious revision of the curriculum, residents and an activist group said Friday.

ISIS is tightening its rules on civilian life in Deir al-Zor province, which fell under near-complete control of the Islamist militant group this summer. The government still controls a military air base and other small pockets.

The announcement came on Wednesday, after ISIS held a meeting with school administrators at a local mosque on the outskirts of Deir al-Zor city, according to the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which monitors all sides of the conflict.

"Islamic State [ISIS] informed them that teachers shall undergo a religious instructional course for one month, and that Islamic State officials were currently developing a new curriculum instead of the current 'infidel' education," the Observatory statement said.

At the start of the academic year in September, ISIS revised the school curriculum in areas it controls, eliminating physics and chemistry while promoting Islamic teachings.

Their latest move aims to further reduce the school day into several hours of religious learning at the expense of academic subjects, according to local activists.

Bill Maher does not flip a district

Bill Maher’s “flip a district” campaign failed to toss Republican Minnesota Rep. John Kline from his House seat.
“I am humbled and honored to once again serve Minnesotans in the 2nd District for the next two years,” Kline tweeted late Tuesday evening.
With nearly 70 percent of precincts reporting, Kline was leading his opponent, Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party candidate Mike Obermueller by 20 points — 57 to 37 percent, the Associated Press reported.
The host of HBO’s “Real Time” urged voters, and specifically college students, to show up and cast a ballot.

Hey college students of, if i can remember to vote tomorrow with all the weed I've smoked, then so can you. #FLIPKLINE
