I had NO idea there were people like Trump, Bannon, Ryan, McConnell, Sessions, etc who were willing to sell out their own country for money and power—to Russia, no less!

I knew the GOP was a group of liars, cheaters and thieves; I knew and know that they can't win unless they fix the machines, etc; and I figured some of them were hate-filled racists; but I had NO IDEA AT ALL, the GOP would be willing to do what is now being investigated of them, and I had no idea how many of them were so hateful.

It's been a very mind-blowing year in that regard, for me.

The GOP can thank Trump for bringing this to my attention; he's horrible at lying.

Vegas Gunman Stephen Paddocks Brother Arrested in Child Porn Probe

The estranged brother of Las Vegas massacre gunman Stephen Paddock was arrested Wednesday in connection with child pornography, law-enforcement sources said.

Bruce Paddock, 58, was detained at a Los Angeles assisted-living facility, where he was awaiting surgery for spinal stenosis. A felony complaint said he had over 600 explicit images of minors in in 2014 and also swapped pornography.

He faces 19 counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of possession of child pornography, the complaint says.

The Fox News program was on while I was at the gym.

I never watch it. I glanced up at it a few times, and my immediate reaction was how simple and childish it appeared.

There was no volume, so I was only seeing the bright colors, flashing lights and silly headlines—headlines that read like Trump Tweets.
How can anyone watch that program, and take it as a serious source of news?—it is so obviously right-wing banter.
Silly viewers: Fox is for kids.

If the Pro Trump boneheads think Russia and Putin are so wonderful...

Why don't they try to live in Russia for awhile, then come back and report their findings.
Me thinks they will be mighty humbled.

It would be best for those who regret having voted for Trump...

to learn to forgive themselves;
because, as each dark day passes, I find it more and more difficult to forgive them.

I agree with another post on DU, that this Trump thing isn't funny; he isn't insane. It's scary.

It's become obvious (at least through Twitter) that Russia has not stopped trying to interfere in our politics.
And I can't help but think Russia is working deeper than that—perhaps local politics, judges.
I think Nixon was nothing compared to what we are about to experience.
Trump and Pence are traitors. The GOP is not American, they are their own country. A country of rich.
Many of us are comfortable now, but these are very scary times.
