WATCH: Chuck Grassley scrambles through American flags to evade reporters asking about Mueller probe

Where the money went. Nice interactive chart in this piece.

You'd think this shit spending would maybe hit home for some borderline-sane trumpers.

George "Deepthroat" Papadopulos?

On July 27, 2017, defendant PAPADOPOULOS was arrested upon his arrival at
Dulles International Airport. Following his arrest, defendant PAPADOPOULOS met with the Government on numerous occasions to provide information and answer questions.

Singing since July! He doesn't look like the G. Gordon Liddy type to me. I just can't picture him wanting to stock up on Soap On a Rope.

Is a perp walk too much to ask for?

It would add a lot of pressure on the indicted IMO. Maybe Mueller will go for maximum affect. I'd love to see it.

Washington Free Beacon funded initial Fusion GPS anti-Trump research

Source: CBS

The conservative website the Washington Free Beacon originally funded research by the firm Fusion GPS that eventually resulted in the now-infamous Trump "dossier," the publication's editor-in-chief and chairman acknowledged in a statement Friday night.

The research effort was known to have been supported by Republican allies before the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton's campaign picked up the tab for the research. The resulting dossier was compiled by former British spy Michael Steele and contained unsubstantiated allegations about then-candidate Trump's connections to Russia. Mr. Trump has denied the allegations.

The Free Beacon's connection to the dossier was first reported by the Washington Examiner Friday night.

Democrats early money haul stuns GOP

A historic number of well-funded candidates have flooded Republican House districts ahead of 2018.
By ELENA SCHNEIDER 10/23/2017 05:07 AM EDT

Democratic candidates are reporting historic early fundraising totals, alarming GOP strategists and raising the prospect that 2018 could feature the most expansive House battlefield in years.

Animated by opposition to President Donald Trump and the Republican congressional majorities, at least 162 Democratic candidates in 82 GOP-held districts have raised over $100,000 so far this year, according to a POLITICO analysis of the latest FEC data. Thatís about four times as many candidates as House Democrats had at this point before the 2016 or 2014 elections, and itís more than twice as many as Republicans had running at this point eight years ago, on the eve of capturing the House in the 2010 wave election.
