Please stop the misogynistic blame game campaign against Stevie Nicks

Lindsey Buckingham was fired from Fleetwood Mac. Since the news broke people have been blaming Stevie Nicks for his dismissal even referencing the #metoo movement as her motivation. While the band has issued a terse statement neither Buckingam nor Nicks have commented. Is this just the good old misogyny machine at work?
