Ebola Freakouts!

Two days after a man in Texas was diagnosed with Ebola, a Missouri doctor Thursday morning showed up at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport dressed in protective gear to protest what he called mismanagement of the crisis by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Dr. Gil Mobley checked in and cleared airport security wearing a mask, goggles, gloves, boots and a hooded white jumpsuit emblazoned on the back with the words, “CDC is lying!”

And here's another! Though, I have to say, I question these news sources as I have never heard of any of them. They seem to all be on the teapublican bandwagon. I still find it quite interesting/entertaining.

“All the people in the back of the ambulance 48 hours later before they finally took the ambulance out of service,” said Dallas Paramedic Geoffrey Aklinski in a discussion on Facebook, “none of them have been contacted. None of the paramedics that were on that shift and went in the ambulance were contacted. I’ve been off three days now. No one contacted me and I was in and drove that ambulance after it was infected.”
Aklinski said he was going to a doctor on his own initiative to be tested for the Ebola virus. “This is definitely a concern and exposed workers have not been contacted or tested… like me,” he explained. “I had to call into control in Dallas at 8 pm and complain to get evaluated.”

China-Canada Investment Agreement Locks Canada into Legally Binding Terms

This sounds pretty serious for Canada. They can be sued by China if they disagree to allow China access to any natural resources that they deem to be profitable. I can definitely understand why this is upsetting, and quite frankly, I am shocked that this hasn't been mentioned more. Has anyone else heard about this? It seems to me that Canada has pretty much sold itself to China for the next 31 years.

Any economics aware people want to chime in on this?

If I was running a government, I'd want to own the banks... I'd want to make sure that I owned any institution with any record of my "balances" and "debts"... Because I was thinking about how each country is pretty much separated by it's own currency...

And if I was a world leader and I controlled the banks... This also meant I controlled the national " debt", because of who is to say I changed what was in the books, when I own the very banks that I changed the books in.

I thought about currency for some time tonight and I came to the realization that the same exact methods used by business are probably just used by banks on larger scales. The whole currency thing is a total farce. I mean, couldn't the US simply be telling the American people that we are indebted xxx amount of dollars to China, when we really just changed the books to reflect this...

For example, I own the banks... So I can alter my account information to make me look like I have 70 trillion dollars, now... I send it to China and I pay my debt off... It is like playing Monopoly while you're the banker in the game, except the bank till is invisible and no one can see it...

How do people not see the huge flaw in banks? Now we have governments who own huge portions of our largest banks in America...

Also, who decides which person gets money in their account? Why does our currency keep inflating? Isn't that because we continue to create more and more money? If money is something that can just be created so simply... Either physically or electronically, why do so many people fall into the mindset that they need money for everything? Is this what most rich people realize? I do admit I am better off than I once was... But I have to say, this whole concept of "money" is just a way to make people feel rewarded for being slaves... Voluntary slaves... Consumer whores as some would put it... Well go ahead and prove me wrong someone... Please

Has anyone seen this website?

http://www.thewhistleblowers.org/

It seems conspiracy theorist-y, but interesting to look into none-the-less

Has anyone ever validated or debunked any of the claims made by this particular website?

I think the information on there now, primarily about HSBC, is quite interesting - but I'm curious if anyone else has had an experience with this site.

WTF Justice Department?

So I was researching about the '88' counts brought against the Koch brothers in 2000 for releasing tons of lukemia causing benzene into waste water. I was curious so I typed...

"Koch Benzene" into google which gave me the following link:
http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/2000/September/573enrd.htm

Page could not be found... That's odd... OK, so I went to Archive.org and found this:

https://web.archive.org/web/20130714003440/http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/2000/September/573enrd.htm

Is this the justice department going out of their way to try to hide this? Why the hell remove it?
Or did I just miss something like a relocation of the page?

Also note that after Bush became president, all these charges were dropped and they settled for the mere $20mil. They were being fined for $350mil, but I guess all those people they got sick were too poor to matter to any of these delusional idiots.

Anyone have a clue why this page would be missing all of a sudden? Maybe because of the elections coming up?

------------------
Edit:

Upon further investigation, almost all court rulings or charges during 2000 and prior have been removed and are no longer being listed as available on the DOJ website. The results are listed in the search results via the justice.gov website, but are no longer valid links. I guess they decided to clean house of old docs. They are all producing 'page not found' results.

I searched the archives of the justice.gov website and have discovered other pages dated 2000 and prior do resolve the case history, however the koch benzene documents are not available in the archives on the website

Racism Doesn't Exist In America

Obviously, racism is not an issue. Look at how little money/ownership white people actually hold in this country:

Whites are practically starving to death!

US Rejects Palestinian Request

In 1967, Israel "took back" Jerusalem after 2,000 years of Jewish people not being allowed there. Israel has been "taking back" land at a really quick rate - mostly by force and bloodshed.

One of the interesting things to note in all of this:
I've rarely, if ever, heard of an Israeli being referred to as an Israeli. In fact, the only time I hear the word Israeli is when referring to a government body or act stemming from Israel.. For example, "Israeli forces", "Israeli bombs", etc... I never hear it used to describe a person born in Israel. The term I hear used to describe someone born in Israel has always been "Jewish" or the lesser politically correct terms.

In the Middle East, it seems ethnic identification is synonymous with religion in some cases.

When I was in Jordan, I was never told to watch not to be offensive toward Jordanians...
I was told not to be offensive to Muslims...

When does it become acceptable to define an entire nation by their a religious preference?

According to statistics, Israel is only 75% Jewish... Compared to Palestine which is approximately 85% Muslim...

Yet Israel's people are called the "Jews" and Palestinians are Palestinians... I don't ever heard Palestinian people referred to exclusively as Muslim. To be honest, I've never heard any form of humanization when it comes to a single person in Palestine on main stream media.

So, does America really have a problem with Palestine, or does it have a problem with Muslims? That's kind of a rhetorical question. I'm really just pointing out the obvious.

By this same 2,000 year old logic: I guess the Native American's could all demand their land back and the rest of us would have to leave and give up our land?

What would you do if Native American's started bombing your town to get their land back? I'm sure you'd fight back. How does something that happened 2,000 years ago still hold enough precedence in people's minds to be justification for stealing/murdering? "My ancestors were here first"

I wonder if Middle Eastern countries ever call us the Christians ?

Anyway, I found this only from a Chinese news source/foreign news sources. Apparently Palestine submitted a request to the United States to become it's own state, with Jerusalem as it's capitol. It also mentions a response from the White house... Please see below

Louisiana State University Political Survey

I received a phone call about two months ago from Louisiana State University, inquiring about my lolitical preferences and also asking me specifically about how I felt on the issue of gay marriage. What I find really funny is, when I asked what the purpose of the survey was for, the lady on the phone line couldn't give me an answer. I found this odd. Afterwards, I researched a bit and found out they do surveys sometimes and call people from the number I received the call on. What I find particularly interesting is that this happened extremely close to the time I received the call:

http://blogs.theadvocate.com/politicsblog/2014/08/21/vitter-gathers-higher-ed-leaders-for-closed-door-meeting/

Apparently David Vitter is having closed door meetings with the board at LSU.
This just stinks to high hell, if you ask me... And I do not list my number anywhere or receive any other telemarketing type calls on my number. It is unlisted and I wonder how they even got it.

I remember reading somewhere that Vitter's wife had ties to LSU professionally also. Are universities allowed to have political affiliations?

Then i noticed, the budget for LSU is around $3.3billion a year. That seems like a lot to me, but then again - I am not familiar with the budgets for most univerisites. Just, well... Something doesn't feel right in all of this.

Discrimination and the Perpetuation of the Police State in America

This is something I have been wanting to share with people for quite some time now. Of course, my friends and family are aware. Perhaps someone here has already addressed it and feels similarly, who knows?

I do have a tendency to look at the big picture, so please bare with me... This is my first discussion thread here...

Recently there has been extra attention drawn to the increasing police state in America.

This, for some reason, has conveniently been accompanied by an increased discrimination awareness by the media lately in regards to racism, sexism, socioeconomic status, occupation, political affiliation, etc...

Has anyone ever wondered why? I do have my own ideas on this, and I'd like to share them with you. Please let me know your ideas, if any, as well.

First of all, I identify the government, police, media, and the top 1% all as similar (if not exactly the same) entities.

I believe right now we are being strategically encouraged to turn on one another through the media running a serious psy-op campaign. There are several reasons for this to occur. The main reason, which is what I'll be focusing on, is : Population Control

If we are psychologically segregated and feel we are being treated differently, it will create hostilities between us in regards to ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic class, etc...
Please keep in mind, I am by no means claiming that these things do not exist. Discrimination DOES exist, but I simply want to point out that discrimination is being bred and fed by the government/media as part of a strategic dismantling of the American population. We are falling into segregated groups even moreso because of it. Thus, we are much less likely to ever all truly come together as one cohesive community, "We, The People".

We are being strategically pulled away from each other through the use of the media, to make it easier to control us: because something really heinous (more-so than what is already occurring) is unfolding. Something that many of us will object to greatly, but we will have trouble finding support if we do not begin banding together now. What's coming does include the increased force of the police state. This does include a continuous revocation of each of our individual rights. By pitting us against one another and putting us in competition to see who "the biggest victim" is. We are all victims of the same game; we are all having our rights stripped away from us, but we are too busy worrying about our very limited scopes to ever truly relate and relay this across all demographics.

This is a time, more than ever, that we must stand together - against all odds - and maintain our humanity.

In essence, we are all under attack, yet each subset of us is being attacked in a different manner. However, the outcome will be the same.

Any thoughts?

Hello

I'm just visiting from Louisiana. I do enjoy this site quite a bit and I have been looking at it for about a month before creating an account. I think I associated with this page originally from a livestream feed called globalrevolution.

I don't exactly identify with any political party. If I did it would be the Free Thinker party.

Anyway, I hope I can contribute something good to the community here!

Thanks
