Note to those doing phone banks for GOTV
Please do not call and ask me to vote for the Dem candidate in district X on Tuesday, when I live in District Y
Lets not waste our time.
You have my address, you have my phone number your have district maps, take a few minutes and verify those who you are calling on behalf of the candidate live in the district the candidate is running in.
No matter how much I like your candidate if they do not live in my district I cannot vote for them
This will only lead to confusion when people do go to vote and they don't see the candidate they were called and asked to vote for on the ballot in their district.
I can see Grandma already confused when she goes to vote and cant find candidate X on the ballot after she had a nice phone call from a supporter of candidate X and she promised to vote for candidate X but candidate X is no where to be found on the ballot. De we really want pissed off and confused grannies?
Anyway thanks to those who make the calls GOTV, even though I find them very annoying, I guess they do work or at least help to get people to vote.
