guillaumeb's JournalBiden Crushes Trump's 'Law And Order' Lies With A Plan To Reform The Police
From the article:
Biden said that while he doesnt support defunding the police, he does believe federal aid should only be given to departments that meet certain basic standards of decency.
No, I dont support defunding the police, Biden said, despite Trump repeatedly claiming that the former vice president does, in fact, support that.

Trump Immediately Humiliated For Paying Disgraced Pollster To Tell Him He's Beating Joe Biden
From the article:
As PoliticusUSAs Jason Easley noted earlier, Trump hired his own polling firm to analyze CNNs polls as he refuses to believe that the polls are real and he is losing the election.
The only problem is that the pollster Trump enlisted to make him feel good about his reelection chances McLaughlin and Associates has an awful track record.
As Nate Cohn of the New York Times pointed out after Trumps implosion, the group was perhaps the worst pollster of 2018.

Fitting, and ironic, that the worst President in US history hired the worst pollster.
You are against looting, you say? So am I.
When billionaire Jeff Bezos extorts money from a city, or state, so he can be persuaded to locate one of his facilities there, I see that as looting the local taxpayers.
When the 1% but enough politicians so they can write the tax code to favor them, I see that as looting the taxpayers.
When WalMart hands out information showing their underpaid associates how to apply for welfare, I see that as looting the taxpayers.
So yes, I am against all looting, not just the unsanctioned and non-approved type of looting.
Mitt Romney joins thousands of evangelicals marching against racial injustice in DC
From the article:
Romney, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who has spoken often of his faith, also tweeted out a picture of himself at the "Faith Works" march below the caption "Black Lives Matter."
The day before, Romney had tweeted an image of his father, George W. Romney, then-governor of Michigan, participating in a civil rights march in the 1960s.

It is good that Mr. 47% decided to express his opinion.
Trump called Colin Powell a loser.
It is obvious to any one listening that Trump knows very little about anything, but one thing he does know a lot about is losing.
He has lost so much money playing at being a businessman that he declared bankruptcy 6 times.
He has been married 3 times, so far.
He lost money running a casino.
He lost the ability to borrow money from respectable banks because of his habit of failing to repay loans.
And in 2016, he lost the popular vote.
So Trump may know nothing about most things, but he does know what it takes to be a loser.
Racist Contradictions in Defining Freedom in Trump's America
From the article:
Several militia members were present at the rally, where a large banner reading FREEDOM was spread at the entrance to the Capitol. Some demonstrators waved Dont Tread on Me flags and wore President Donald Trumps campaign gear.....
The Black Lives Matter movement and the masses who have taken to the streets in general sympathy with cause of stopping state-sponsored violence and racism against Americans, most especially against Black lives and those of people of color in the U.S., in some sense could find their politically urgent message and demand summed up in the expression, Dont Tread on Me.
George Floyd asked for an agent of the state to not tread with his knee on the back of his neck, to honor the seemingly simple request of letting him breathe. Breonna Taylor, had she had the chance, would have asked the police to not invasively break into her private home and fatally tread on her life. One could go on.

I went to my 3rd BLM demonstration today.
Hundreds of people, mainly students, from the Oak Lawn Il area.
At the end of the march, we all knelt for 8 minutes in tribute to Mr. Floyd. It was a very long, uncomfortable 8 minutes kneeling on the hot pavement.
But as I knelt there, all I thought about was how George Floyd was slowly killed by an out of control cop for 8 excruciatingly long minutes. I chose to kneel Floyd did not.
This was not a shooting, where the death arrives nearly instantly, this was a cold blooded killing perpetrated by a man who calmly knelt on another person's neck and ignored the pleas for mercy. Ignored the dying man calling out to his mother.
Denied Floyd's very right to life.
And this killer was watched, and protected, by 3 equally culpable cops.
Imagine taking 8 minutes to kill another person. 8 minutes of Chauvin calmly kneeling, hands in his pockets, as Floyd slowly died.
The sub-text for MAGA is MAWA.
We all know about Trump's slogan. Make America Great Again.
Implicit in the slogan is that America is not now great, but it can be.
But under the MAGA slogan is MAWA. make America White Again. And it is that subtext that underlies most of Trump's rhetoric.
Trump is speaking to angry white people, and he is saying that he, Trump, is the savior who can Make America White Again, and make everything great for his white base.
If we filter nearly everything Trump does through the MAWA lens, it clarifies things. Of course, Trump, being a crook, will also do many things to ensure that he profits from the Presidency, but racism has been foundational to the GOP since 1968, so racism is always the prime motivator.
