Is this considered good news, or bad news?

In a Darwinian sense, one might say that this is good news. In a moral sense, it is bad news.

Trump's Economy Approval Rating Drops Below 50% For The First Time In 3 Years

From the article:

More and more Americans are losing confidence in President Donald Trump’s ability to handle the economy, according to the latest Gallup poll that found his economic approval rating has dropped to 47 percent in June, a 16-point decrease from numbers reported at the beginning of the year. The poll was the first to show an economic approval rating below 50 percent since November 2017 (when 45 percent of Americans approved).

“In January, Americans were mostly positive about U.S. economic conditions, a record few cited the economy as the nation’s top problem and a solid majority approved of Trump’s handling of the economy,” Gallup reports. “Today, Americans’ views have turned negative, they are more likely to name the economy as the top problem and Trump’s job approval rating on the issue has dropped below 50%.”

Biden Says Trump Is Guilty Of Dereliction Of Duty If He Didn't Read Russia Bounty Briefing

From the article:

Biden said:
But if what I have heard over the last week and the recent reporting that it was in the PDB, the Presidential Daily Brief, the presidential daily brief is something I read every single day as vice president. The president read it every day. I was briefed every morning before I got to the white house and then again. So the idea that somehow he didn’t know or isn’t being briefed, it is a dereliction of duty if that’s the case. And if he was briefed and nothing was done about this, that’s a dereliction of duty.

Senior US Officials Say Delusional Trump Is A Danger To National Security

From the article:

In hundreds of highly classified phone calls with foreign heads of state, President Donald Trump was so consistently unprepared for discussion of serious issues, so often outplayed in his conversations with powerful leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Erdogan, and so abusive to leaders of America’s principal allies, that the calls helped convince some senior US officials — including his former secretaries of state and defense, two national security advisers and his longest-serving chief of staff — that the President himself posed a danger to the national security of the United States, according to White House and intelligence officials intimately familiar with the contents of the conversations.

The densest element in the known universe is Trumpium.

Trumpium is so dense that no fact can penetrate the outer shell.

Trumpium is so dense that the truth is repelled by a force field.

Trumpium is so dense that anyone infested with it cannot understand basic concepts relating to the US form of government.

Trumpium is so dense that …….

Trump's Russia Bounty Story Falls Apart As Military Tried To Protect Troops

From the article:

As more outlets have confirmed the initial report that the Russians placed a bounty on the heads of US troops in Afghanistan, Trump’s claims of fake news are collapsing. The White House tried to claim that Trump wasn’t briefed, but the Office of the Director of National Intelligence won’t say whether or not Trump was given a written briefing that he ignored.

If the Russian bounty on US troops was “fake news” as the President claimed on Twitter, why did the military take steps to try to protect US forces in Afghanistan?

Trump has lied over 20,000 times, and the lies are collapsing under the weight of reality. Except, of course, for the 37% of Trump true believers.

The Orange Parade.

Not the one in N. Ireland. This is a joke that I received today from a friend. And it is:

An assistant to Donald Trump told him she had a fantastic dream last

There was a huge parade down Pennsylvania Avenue celebrating Trump.

Millions lined the parade route, cheering when the President went past.

Bands were playing; children were throwing confetti into the air; there
were balloons everywhere.

Trump was very impressed and said, "That's really great!

By the way, how did I look in your dream? Was my hair okay?"

His assistant said, "I couldn't tell, the casket was closed."

Is there a Noble Prize for incoherence?

If there is, I nominate Donald J Trump.
