Marijuana to blame for much of the city's (NYC) spike in homicides so far this year

Marijuana is to blame for much of the city's spike in homicides and shootings during the beginning of this year, causing the NYPD to examine a few select precincts as largely responsible for the increases, Police Commissioner Bill Bratton said Monday.

There were 54 homicides for the first two months of the year, a 20% increase from the same time last year, according to NYPD statistics. More than 70% of homicides were the result of a shooting.

And many of these homicides, NYPD officials said, were marijuana-related "rip-offs."

Paul Staments patents universal biopesticide that has big ag saying "the most disruptive

Technology we've ever witnessed".

Humanity is facing a problem. Our immediate environment is riddled with pesticides. They are making us unhealthy faster than we can study the effects. In addition, these pesticides play large roles in the massive bee deaths and decline of soil health. The companies that profit from making these pesticides have made it clear they won’t stop. Our petitions to the EPA and FDA are mostly ignored due to revolving door leadership between pesticide makers and government regulators. Is there an answer? Yes there is!

SMART Pesticides

Paul Stamets, the world’s leading mycologist, filed a patent in 2001 that was purposely given little attention. In the words of pesticide industry executives, this patent represents “The most disruptive technology that we have ever witnessed.” The biopesticides described in the patent reveals a near permanent, safe solution for over 200,000 species of insects and it all comes from a mushroom. After what is called ‘sporulation’ of a select entomopathogenic fungi (fungi that kill insects) the area becomes no longer suitable for any insect(s) the fungi are coded for. In addition, extracts of the entomopathogenic fungi can also steer insects in different directions.

Why is Obama the Best/Worst President ever?

I hear he is the best and the worst. From both sides politically.

I got a lotta things I love about the guy but a ton of stuff I ain't too happy about as well.

Healthcare, the wars (sort of), the economy, the push for higher wages (Success with Walmart) are all things that are great....

NSA, drone attacks, bailouts, TPP are a few things I don't care much for.

Anyone here listen to music that was not made before

1980?

Classic rock is lame and if you are still listening to that crap you need to get out more. So much incredible music out there and it seems most of the people here are trapped in the 60's to late 70's music.

So many incredible bands out there now. So many.
