Boomers! Remember this? Everyone else: check it out!

From the description by "Rhino" on YouTube:
You're watching the official music video for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - "Teach Your Children" written by Graham Nash. Originally released on the 1970 CSNY studio album "Deja Vu", "Teach Your Children" is featured on a 2018 Graham Nash career retrospective entitled "Over The Years..."

"I'm ____, and I approved this message."

A technician from the home security company I use was at my house today, and I heard his smart phone play an unusual tone: “I’m (cadet bone spurs) and I approved this message.” Apparently, someone just sent him a text message, and he’d programmed his phone to play that sound clip whenever a message is received. Very clever for a drumpf-humper!

Because I needed him to finish the installation, I decided that — since discretion is the better part of valor — I’d valiantly ignore it for the time being.

And after he left, it occurred to me: let’s fight fire with fire (instead of ire). Why don’t we program our phones to play a similar tone when a text message arrives?

So here’s my idea: in replies to this post, please include a link to your favorite Democratic candidate saying s/he approved “this message.” And then program your phone to play it with your incoming texts. The links should include a downloadable MP3 file which could be copied and converted to a tone playable on various devices.

Let’s show others that we’re just as clever as — and even more resourceful than — people who (blindly) follow the inevitable 2020 presidential opponent!

Randy's back... with the Mueller Blues!

Be sure to watch to the very last word!

Feeling nostalgic: Obama's best Comebacks and Rebuttal Moments, Vol.s 1, 2 and 3

Two years ago, liberalnarb posted one of these video clips here; THANK YOU FOR THAT. I hadn't seen it then, but this morning all three popped up on my YouTube feed.

It's well worth the time to watch all of them, although I must add a caution: Vol. 1 includes some exchanges between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama during their campaign lo these many years ago.

In contrast to what we're seeing and hearing from the illegitimate occupier of the Oval Office, these are most refreshing.

Enjoy!

Prosecutors Subpoena Records from Trump's Scottish Golf Clubs

Source: Vanity Fair

Maryland prosecutors have subpoenaed a company owned by Donald Trump for records related to his Scottish golf courses, seeking information about the president’s possible violations of the emoluments clause of the Constitution. According to The Times of London, Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh demanded the financial filings of DJT Holdings LLC—which owns the president’s Scotland resorts, as well as Trump International Hotel in Washington—as part of an investigation into whether profits from Trump’s D.C. hotel were “flowing to the president through his affiliated entities.”

Before taking office, Trump promised to distance himself from his web of business interests, putting sons Don Jr. and Eric in charge. But Trump Sr. has retained his financial ties to his company, and questions about how his presidency may have benefitted his pocketbook have cast a shadow over his administration, home to others —Scott Pruitt, Ryan Zinke— who’ve allegedly mined their public offices for personal gain. “We are confident that at the end of discovery we will be able to prove our case that President Trump is violating the Constitution’s emoluments clauses, America’s first anti-corruption laws,” Frosh told the Times.

Trump’s D.C. hotel has been the subject of particular scrutiny, as international officials and business leaders seemingly seek to curry favor with the president by frequenting it. But despite Frosh’s confidence, emoluments cases are rare, and challenging to prove. Potentially more worrisome for the president is the possibility that the Maryland subpoena could reveal the unknown source of DJT Holdings’s funding. In a congressional hearing last year, Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS—the research firm that hired Christopher Steele to assemble a dossier on Trump’s ties to Russia—intimated the company could be financially linked to foreign powers. “The Irish courses and the Scottish courses . . . don’t, on their face, show Russian involvement, but what they do show is enormous amounts of capital flowing into these projects from unknown sources,” he said. “It’s hundreds of millions of dollars. And these golf course are just, you know, they’re sinks. They don’t actually make any money.”

We're not talking golf clubs as in irons versus woods versus putters here.

Gurl, He Can't Get Shit!

Randy Rainbow's "There is nothing like a wall" video is outrageously funny! And spot on.

Randy, you owe me a new keyboard. As much as the whole video is worth watching, what prompted my biggest laugh was this:

He gets badgered. He gets booed.
He gets heckled coast-to-coast.
He gets valentines from Putin.
And advice from Hitler's ghost.
He gets labeled "Irresponsible, inhuman and unfit."
What can't he get?

Darrel Issa believes Mueller's case against Michael Flynn will be THROWN OUT of court

From the Daily Mail:

- Issa claims the FBI 'tricked' Flynn into not having a lawyer at the 2017 interview;
- US District Judge Emmet Sullivan ordered both the Mueller investigation and Flynn's team to turn over all documents relating to the interview;
- Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about conversations with Russia's then-ambassador to the United States during the presidential transition;
- His lawyers allege FBI bosses pressured him into seeking no counsel before or during the January 2017 interview which ultimately led to his guilty plea;
- Mueller argued that Flynn, a veteran US official, 'does not need to be warned it is a crime to lie to federal agents'.

Thank you for your expert opinion, as expressed to the hard-of-thinking Faux Gnus audience. Only -- in your case -- "expert" had a different definition:
Ex - past, has-been, washed up;
Spurt - a drip under pressure.
