**Mitchell (Michigan) Poll: Clinton's lead up to 7 percent over Trump**

EAST LANSING, Michigan --- Despite two major Trump rallies in the Grand Rapids and Detroit areas yeserday, the latest Fox 2 Detroit/Mitchell Poll of Michigan shows former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump has moved from 6 percent to 7 percent in the four-way ballot question that includes Libertarian Party candidate former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein. In the four-way race it is Clinton 50% - Trump 43% - Johnson 4% - Stein 1% while 3% are undecided. The two-way race is closer with Clinton leading Trump 51%-45%. The lead is smaller primarily because of rounding; the margin in the two-way race is 6.6%.
The IVR (automated) poll of 737 likely voters in the November 2016 General Election was conducted by Mitchell Research & Communications on Monday night, October 31, 2016 and has a Margin of Error of + or - 3.61% at the 95% level of confidence.
“Clinton is now at 50% and she expanded her lead again last night. At this point, it doesn’t seem that the FBI announcement has had much impact on the race, although undecided voters seem to be more concerned than they were Sunday night. Voters seem to have backed off the third party candidates and moved towards the two major party candidates as Clinton moved up 3 percent and Trump gained 2 percent. Clinton is still in a strong position to win Michigan’s 16 electoral votes,” Steve Mitchell, CEO of Mitchell Research & Communications said.

Donald Trump, Manchurian Candidate?

The Republicans have repeatedly accused President Obama of being a Manchurian President, a double agent secretly in the employ of foreign entities, and working to harm America from within.
They’ve accused him over and over and over and over and over again, on the basis of nothing but easily-debunked evidence.
So now, the hot news story of the day is that Donald Trump may be in debt to Russian oligarchs connected to Putin, in the amount of millions — potentially HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS — of dollars. He has surrounded himself with advisors who have worked for Putin-leaning strongmen, he has indicated he would pull out of NATO, he has praised Putin himself, he has massive personal business holdings in Russia and Eastern Europe, his campaign specifically altered the GOP platform to no longer support Ukraine…
Wouldn’t this mean that Trump is quite possibly an actual Manchurian Candidate, a candidate being supported by foreign powers who want to see harm come to America?

Trump typically acts for his own financial bottom line. So even though Manafort this week denied that Trump had any financial interests in Russia or Russian funders, we should remain skeptical until Trump releases his tax returns.

Trump has lusted after a relationship with Putin for years. He mused on how marvelous it would be if Putin would reach out to him, repeatedly mentioning gifts Putin had sent. Typically, Donald cannot keep his stories straight on how close he got to Putin. In a Moscow 2013 interview Trump told MSNBC, “I do have a relationship, and I can tell you that he’s very interested in what we’re doing here today”. In 2014 Trump reasserted, “I spoke indirectly and directly with President Putin, who could not have been nicer.” In 2015 he claimed, “I got to know him very well because we were both on 60 Minutes.”
But last week he demurred. “I never met Putin. I don’t know who Putin is. He said one nice thing about me,” And “I have nothing to do with Putin. I’ve never spoken to him. I don’t know anything about him other than he will respect me.”

Most intelligence experts believe the email leaks attacking Hillary Clinton at the time of the Democratic National Convention were originally obtained through espionage by Russian intelligence services engaging in cyberwar against America, and then shared with WikiLeaks by Russian sources engaged in an infowar against America.
Do Republicans running for the House and Senate in 2016 want to be aligned with a Russian strongman and his intelligence services engaging in covert action against America for the presumed purpose of electing Putin’s preferred candidate? Do they believe Trump when he says he was only kidding when he publicly supported these espionage practices and called for them to be escalated?
Do Republicans running in 2016 believe that America should have a commander in chief who has harshly criticized NATO and stated that if Russia invades the Baltic states, Eastern Europe states such as Poland, or Western Europe he is not committed to defending our allies against this aggression?

In “The Manchurian Candidate,” our enemies sought to influence our politics at the highest level. What troubles a growing number of Republicans in Congress, and so many Republican and Democratic national security leaders, is that in 2016 life imitates art, aided and abetted by what appears to be a Russian covert action designed to elect the next American president.

Fringe conservatives are more prone than impassioned liberals to becoming “Manchurian candidates” because liberals do not think the government of the republic is a “humbug.” The right, distrusting of government, does not see the dangers of toying with it. After all, McCarthyism ultimately undermined U.S. national security by forcing the most capable diplomats out of the State Department on trumped-up charges, leaving no one to check the folly of the Vietnam War.
Like the brainwashing of soldiers in “The Manchurian Candidate,” Trump and the right hold the media and electorate captive through verbal humiliation and repetition. It is not Trump who has been brainwashed. He is not the Manchurian candidate. The American people are.
The communists humiliate Raymond to such a degree that he can only find peace in totalitarian control. Similarly, Trump’s economically and culturally humiliated working-class heroes believe in a leader who believes in nothing.

The ACLU has filed an official complaint against an Arizona public charter school after a sixth grade teacher from the Academy of Excellence in Phoenix repeatedly viciously harassed a Muslim student who is a refugee from Somalia. From Medium.com:
On one occasion, A.A.’s teacher showed a video to the class about 9/11 terrorists and then said to A.A. in front of the entire class, “That’s going to be you,” suggesting that he was destined to become a terrorist himself.
Another time, when A.A. raised his hand to answer a question, his teacher snapped at him — “All you Muslims think you are so smart” — in front of the entire class. Then, referring to the fact that A.A. and his family were resettled in the United States on refugee visas, the teacher started ranting about Donald Trump, telling A.A.:
“I can’t wait until Trump is elected. He’s going to deport all you Muslims. Muslims shouldn’t be given visas. They’ll probably take away your visa and deport you. You’re going to be the next terrorist, I bet.”

Cummings’ shocker: Americans don’t ‘have a clue’ how hard the GOP pushed the FBI to attack Clinton
Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) is furious that the FBI is caving to GOP pressure without giving the same treatment to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
In a Monday morning interview with CNN’s “New Day,” Cummings admitted he was shocked by the letter that FBI Director James Comey sent to his committee.
“I was surprised that the director who has told our committee on several occasions that his number one concern is his reputation that he would issue a letter that, number one, was so vague,” Cummings began. “And that, basically, gave Donald Trump a softball to hit over the fence. And he knew, I’m sure, that this is exactly what Donald Trump would do. He would exaggerate.”
Cummings went on to call the letter vague again, saying that it leaves so many facts out of the equation. But given the pressure Comey was under from the GOP, he’s not shocked it happened. “We don’t know how many of these e-mails are duplicates. And we don’t have very much information at all. But the fact still remains that — it doesn’t surprise me, though, in a way that he did this. Because I don’t think the American people have a clue as to how hard the Republicans, particularly on my committee, have been on the FBI.”

He continued, saying that the fairness is missing in the FBI because it has left Clinton unable to defend herself while Trump gets to make wild accusations based on zero information. He wants to see the FBI give Manafort and Trump the same treatment.

"There needs to be a hell of a lot of hate in your heart to think lynching people on Halloween is funny. And yet, here we are, Miami. A homeowner in Three Lakes, a small community in suburban Kendall, is celebrating the holiday by lynching two black-looking dummies in his or her yard. It’s also impossible to ignore what’s just in front of the display on the same lawn: A “Trump/Pence 2016” sign."
