Biden: 'We're Sending a Message' to Putin - NBC News, Oct 14, 2016

Who remembers this? What are the implications of this bravado - are they still planning a response? Biden seemed to discount the ability of Russia to affect the outcome of the election (as you'd expect), but clearly they were concerned enough to hint at covert retaliation.

Holy f****** crap

Local station here in Boston just lead with a headline saying the CIA came out with a report saying that Russia interfered in our election to favor Trump? Seems like a bombshell if it's the lead story on local news.

Now 2.5 Million vote lead, 2% win

Pretty decisive win IMO; seems likely she just needed to appeal more to everyday blue collar economy/jobs issues and she would have carried the rust belt states. Shame we underestimated their ability to be duped by a lying piece of shit who said what they wanted to hear.

Uh-Oh, it seems like this place is going through the finger-pointing stage

Later, man.

Coping with Chaos in the White House (Narcissistic Personality Disorder)

I want to talk a little about narcissistic personality disorder. Iíve unfortunately had a great deal of experience with it, and Iím feeling badly for those of you who are trying to grapple with it for the first time because of our president-elect, who almost certainly suffers from it or a similar disorder. If I am correct, it has some very particular implications for the office. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1) Itís not curable and itís barely treatable. He is who he is. There is no getting better, or learning, or adapting. Heís not going to ďrise to the occasionĒ for more than maybe a couple hours. So just put that out of your mind.

2) He will say whatever feels most comfortable or good to him at any given time. He will lie a lot, and say totally different things to different people. Stop being surprised by this. While itís important to pretend ďgood faithĒ and remind him of promises, as Bernie Sanders and others are doing, thatís for his supporters, so *they* can see the inconsistency as it comes. He wonít care. So if youíre trying to reconcile or analyze his words, donít. Itís 100% not worth your time. Only pay attention to and address his actions.

3) You can influence him by making him feel good. There are already people like Bannon who appear ready to use him for their own ends. The GOP is excited to try. Watch them, not him. President Obama, in his wisdom, may be treating him well in hopes of influencing him and averting the worst. If he gets enough accolades for better behavior, he might continue to try it. But donít count on it.
