Bernie Sanders campaign event draws hundreds to Tampa, even though it was sans-Bernie

-snip-
Tennessean Corbin Trent is getting a crash course on the highways and byways of Florida.

In return, volunteers and grassroots organizers around the state supporting Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders are receiving about 70 minutes of instruction, inspiration and anecdotal stories from the Sanders' campaign's national organizing staff representative.

Since landing in Miami Dec. 1, Trent has driven his rented silver Nissan Altima over 450 miles with organizing stops in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando.

On Saturday, the six-foot tall, soft-spoken Trent checked out of the La Quinta Inn and headed to the Tampa Letter Carrier's Union Hall on Cypress Street where he addressed about 200 enthusiastic Sanders' supporters.

If you do not live in the US contact Time Magazine and tell them what you think about Bernie!

I was listening to an L.A. NPR station this afternoon and Larry was talking to Ben Goldberger the nation editor at
Time Magazine about the magazine's Person of the year. The last caller asks why Bernie isn't on the short list since
he won the online Time's reader poll.

Go to the last minute of the interview 14:40 min. (bottom of page) Ben Goldberger says that while Bernie has had a really important and large impact on the Democratic campaign so far, Donald Trump has had a more dominate effect on the presidential campaign thus far and they are an International news organization so they must think about it in global terms.

My issue is why is Trump global? Is he really? How many times have I seen posters on reddit from other countries asking how they can help Bernie get elected? I don't pay attention to Trump but how many non-citizens are asking how they can help get Trump elected?
Is Time magazine even aware of this fact?

I would ask anyone who posts on reddit to ask all people outside the US to contact Time and voice their opinion.
It certainly won't change the editor's mind but it would let them know they don't know what they are talking about!
Just because MSM is mesmerized by him doesn't mean he should be considered important. He has very little policy.
He just talks war and hate, war and hate.

Bernie Sanders visits Baltimore for round table, tour of Freddie Gray's neighborhood.

-snip-
"We are the wealthiest country in the history of the world and every year we're seeing more and more millionaires and more and more billionaires, but in communities like this what we're seeing is kids dropping out of schools, being in bad schools, being in dilapidated housing," Sanders said. "It's time to transform our national priorities; invest in our kids, invest in affordable housing, invest in education, invest in jobs. Fifty-one percent of young African American kids in this country are unemployed or under employed. That is a national tragedy and that has got to change. It's got to change for human reasons --- we don't want to see lives destroyed --- but even if you're a conservative it's got to change for fiscal reasons. You save money when you create jobs and education rather than locking people up. It's a very expensive proposition to be locking people up. Better to invest in housing, jobs and education."

Bernie Sanders Most Popular Candidate Among Asian-Americans

-snip-
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders enjoys the highest level of popularity for any major candidate of either party among Asian-Americans, with his favorable score exceeding his unfavorable score by 29 percentage points with this group. His competitor for the Democratic nomination, Hillary Clinton, is not far behind, with a net favorable score of +21, while all of the Republican candidates are more disliked than liked by the fastest-growing racial group in the country. This is especially true for Donald Trump, whose favorability among Asian-Americans is underwater by 43 points.
