Is is reasonable to consider anyone who denigrates, divides and weakens the Democratic party itself...

Is is reasonable to consider anyone who denigrates, divides and weakens the Democratic party itself to be an "enemy" of the party? Anyone who continually promotes LIES that the Democratic party is the "party of the elite" or the "party of the one-percent" is someone who is HELPING the Republicans and Trump.

Is it unfair to conclude that anyone who spreads the LIE that "there's no difference" between the Democrats and the GOP is an enemy of the Democratic party? Is it fair to characterize that type of harmful rhetoric as blatantly trying to SABOTAGE the Democratic party?

When anyone smears the Democratic party with that type of negativity it generates apathy.

When you have apathy, that discourages voter turnout.

When you have low voter turnout that gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "ideologically bankrupt".

It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "feeble".

It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "corrupt".

It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is an "absolute failure".

It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is "the party of the one-percent".

It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is the "party of the elite".

It's NOT TRUE that there's "no difference between Democrats and Republicans."

It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "do-nothings".

It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party "doesn't care about climate change."

It's NOT TRUE that the Democrats "focus too much" on diversity.

It's NOT TRUE that people who the refuse to vote for an African-American because of his skin color "aren't racists".

It's also NOT TRUE that the Democrats who "are very big into diversity" aren't "particularly sympathetic" to the working class.

That type of hate-speech serves no good purpose. Showing such open contempt and hostility for the Democratic party is a GIFT to the GOP.

These are the types of lies that only serve to divide and weaken Democrats. They are the type of lies that give voters NO REASON to come out and support Democrats.

All I'm saying is that it's perfectly reasonable for anyone to conclude that anyone who purposely and knowingly SABOTAGES the Democratic party like this is NO ALLY and NO FRIEND OF DEMOCRATS. Why would it be unfair to use the word "enemy" of anyone who engages in these Sarandonesque attacks that are purposely intended to weaken and destroy the Democratic party?

If they've been submitted to the IRS then they are READY NOW to release to the public.

Not releasing them is the equivalent of "Pleading the Fifth" and it's a great big "fuck you" to the American voters (as well as the other candidates).

Pleading the Fifth doesn't mean you're guilty, but it means you probably have something to hide. So I wonder, what's being hidden? Why is the negative publicity of NOT releasing the taxes an acceptable alternative TO releasing them? (Unless... actually releasing them would generate even MORE negative publicity.)

We deserve to know why this promise hasn't been kept. What are they hiding?

Not releasing taxes is like "Pleading-the-Fifth...

Not releasing taxes is like "Pleading-the-Fifth"... it doesn't prove wrongdoing, but it sure is fishy... and it makes people wonder what's being hidden.

And, it's a huge, classless and unmistakable "fuck-you!" message to the voters and other candidates.

He's "written-off" the voters who care about ethics...

He's "written-off" the voters who care about ethics, and the voters who care whether a candidate is honest. The entire attitude of the BS campaign has just been so insulting to the American voters (as well as to the other candidates).

Earlier, I saw someone's post who suggested that no candidate should be allowed on the debate stage if they have not yet released their full tax returns (ten years worth, perhaps?)

That sounds like an EXCELLENT idea to me! Why should we even be WASTING OUR TIME with ANY candidate who isn't serious enough about honesty and transparency? He (or she) can just sit quietly on the sideline until he (or she) decides to show their full tax returns.

Look, I don't care if the candidate is rich enough to be a part of the 1%. I want to know WHERE the money is coming from. I want to see that the taxes have been paid, in full and on time. I want to know what the deductions and write-off's are. I want to know WHERE the money is being saved and invested (domestically, or in one of those "off shore tax havens&quot .

American DESERVE to know the truth.

The "kneecapping" of the party has already begun.

Thank you! I couldn't quote it from memory... but the message is the same.

Thank you! I couldn't quote it from memory... but the message is the same.

"How we vote is not as important as that we voted."
~ Jane Sanders

Even at the final hour (AFTER the primary, AFTER the convention) ... even when it mattered the very most... she was still bitter, resentful, scornful and out for revenge. She couldn't even bring herself to say "Vote for Hillary". Not even a generic "Vote for Democrats".

Can't cover up this massive swelling. His eye is swollen shut, like a boxer.

Any impact that causes something that bad is also forceful enough to cause a concussion, or fracture, or internal bleeding. That could lead to a stroke or brain damage. That's true for ANYONE, young or old, fit or frail... but in the elderly, it's especially true.

it's called a "bandage"!! haha!!
The bandage only covers the stitches. The powder foundation is being used to try an cover the massive bruising. But there's no amount of makeup that can disguise the swelling.

I feel so sorry for him. It's too bad he's taking unnecessary risks.

His regular geriatrician would know these things, but a "walk in" clinic...

His regular geriatrician would know these things, but a "walk in" clinic is only aware of what they're told. If they know a patient's full and honest history, then they'll respond appropriately. If the walk-in clinic is given incomplete information and if the patient refuses the recommended follow up (xrays, scans, etc) then there's very little they can do to force the issue.

Look, I don't blame him. I'd do the same thing too. I'd want to be in-and-out as quickly as possible. I'd want the bare minimum (stitches and a bandage) just to have it over and done with. Especially if I didn't feel like sharing my medical history.

This is not a story.
Actually, yes it is. There's another important element to this as well. Something that's bigger than whether one person is a little embarrassed and doesn't want to cause a fuss... it's bigger than the concerns about HIPAA standards and privacy issues.

People just want to make it out to be one because it's Bernie Sanders.
No, because it's someone who's running to become the President of the United States. Voters deserve to know if the person they're voting for is healthy and whether he (or she) has the physical stamina and whether he (or she) is mentally up to the arduous schedule.
