Yesterday, CNN confirmed the original Politico story re: Brock with a conversation with a source.

UPDATE: On CNN...HRH didn't deny they called for Bernie's health records.

Hat tip: in_cog_ni_to

The Sander's campaign decision came after David Brock, the head of a Hillary Clinton super PAC able to coordinate with the campaign, telegraphed his plans to call for the medical records this weekend here.

Politico first reported Brock's plans, and a source with knowledge of his plans confirmed his desire to call for the records in a conversation with CNN on Saturday. Brock, who once was a Clinton antagonist, is now a vocal Clinton defender and surrogate.

John Podesta sure believed it and that's good enough for me.

Uncommitted Superdelegate: "Her voter base does not seem as gung-ho energetic as Sander's base"

Ya think???

Her voter base does not seem as gung-ho energetic as Sanders’s base,” Mr. McDonald said. “... an enthusiastic base can make a big difference in the early stages of a presidential nomination campaign, and if Hillary can’t pull away from Sanders fairly early in the season, I suspect he will gain strength rapidly."

It's hard to get "gung-ho energetic" about pragmatism.

On the other hand, enthusiasm comes easily to those who are genuinely inspired by an honest, principled visionary who is a passionate advocate for The People's racial, social, and economic justice.

Clinton surrogate VT Gov. Shumlin: “Hillary is a pragmatic progressive — she’s not an advocate"

Crossposted in GDP

“Hillary is a pragmatic progressive — she’s not an advocate,” said Gov. Peter Shumlin of Vermont, who last week campaigned in Iowa for Mrs. Clinton over his home-state senator Mr. Sanders.

The definition of an advocate is someone who fights for something or someone, especially someone who fights for the rights of others.

The Clintons' fear: Bernie "will foment a large wave first-time voters and liberals" like Barack did

Cross posted to GDP

According to Democrats close to the Clintons and involved with her campaign, Mrs. Clinton and the former president are also unnerved by the possibility that Mr. Sanders will foment a large wave of first-time voters and liberals that will derail her in Iowa, not unlike Barack Obama’s success in 2008, which consigned Mrs. Clinton to a third-place finish. They have asked her advisers about the strength of the campaign’s data modeling and turnout assumptions in Iowa, given that her 2008 campaign’s predictions were so inaccurate.

I hate bullshit moving of goalposts. You said, "the house always wins" which did not happen in 2008.

Then you moved the goalposts and started talking about "comparative" establishment support vis a vis Barack vs. Bernie, which is irrelevant to my original point where I referenced my experience volunteering from Fall 2007-Jan. 2008.

Your point about Barack having as much establishment support as Clinton during that time is bullshit. You proved nothing. Where's the list of Senate endorsements of Hillary versus his? He did not have any Senator but Tom Kaine for quite a while compared to Hillary, which is why Senator Kennedy's endorsement after SC was so important for Barack. For you to say otherwise is wrong.
