Trump doesn't have a clue how to do the job of president, nor does he want one. The GOP has known all along and just never cared. This is what toxic levels of greed and avarice look like. It's all about personal enrichment, along with enrichment for cronies and donors, the consequences be damned, even if it takes down our democracy. They don't believe in democracy, anyway, and much prefer a corporate autocracy, and we're getting there, day-by-day.

Steven Harper, a trial attorney, and professor at Northwestern University, has created a comprehensive timeline of the Russia scandal at BillMoyers.com. The detail and facts are astounding--and show the degree the Russians have penetrated the highest levels of our government for their own nefarious purposes. Anyone who remembers the Cold War understands the Russians are not our friends.

It isn't difficult to point out racism and bigotry or say it's a bad thing. It's time for Republican to show some actual courage and moral integrity, and publicly denounce Trump. Who could have ever imagined that WWII would be erased by a man so ignorant, he doesn't know the difference between George Washington and Robert E. Lee. He has spit on the graves of every brave man, woman and child who fought against slavery, fascism and the Nazis, and spit on the graves of the many millions the Nazis, fascists and white supremacists have murdered. Without denouncing Trump, Republicans are giving their tacit approval to his reprehensible actions and they have blood on their hands.

Trump should man up and admit it - the Russians had no dirt on Hillary and neither did he. With all of the hackers, espionage operatives, and political operatives doing their best digging, they found -- wait for it -- nothing! We now know that all of Trump's claims of 30,000 emails were really about Junior's emails. Once again, we see Trump's projecting. He gives himself away every time.

Not long ago, Bernie voted against victims of gun violence being able to sue gun manufacturers.

Source: Chicago Tribune On April 27, 2017, the 9th U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a ruling that said paying women less than men for equal work based on prior lower wages was discriminatory under the federal Equal Pay Act.
In a 2015 decision by a lower court, U. S. Magistrate Michael Seng ruled that women's lower prior salaries are likely due to discrimination based on gender bias.
This ruling was overturned by the 9th Circuit. In citing a 1982 ruling, the three-judge panel wrote employers could use previous salary information as long as they applied it "reasonably" (quotations mine) and had a business policy that justified it.

This ruling institutionalizes wage discrimination against women by permitting past wage discrimination to be a reason for new discrimination. Justice for all?
(P. S. I know this news is over 12 hours old, however, it is important news, nonetheless.)

Once again, Republican scorched-earth tactics have prevailed in stealing a presidential election and once again, the majority of Americans will pay a terrible price. With George Bush, we were given the Afghanistan War, 911, the Iraq War, and economic collapse. With a Trump presidency, I fear it will be even worse.
The following link is to an article posted by Rev. William J. Barber that accurately describes the committed adversaries we are up against, along with a roadmap for overcoming their current dominance. Democrats will need to create hundreds, even thousands of grassroots organizations to effect meaningful and lasting change in our country, and literally save our democracy.

All evil needs to triumph is for good people to do nothing.

Without a doubt, Democrats are pleased that Donald Trump's words seem to finally be catching up with him and it looks like Hillary will be elected president. However, given the tendency for too many Democrats to be laid back and not vote, this would be the worst time ever to be complacent. Too often, Dems forget that the extremist zealots on the right succeed with getting out their voting bloc. We need to do the same. EVERY VOTE COUNTS!
