All silliness aside, I have to say, that logo really screams fascism.
The official logo for Donald Trump and Mike Pences 2016 ultra-conservative campaign may be NSFW.
Just after the presumptive GOP presidential nominee named the Indiana governor as his pick for VP Friday, the Republican ticket revealed its new logo and Twitters collective dirty mind ran wild.
When I first saw this I thought Samantha Bee had made it up, the fact that its the real thing is so hilariously symbolic of this sophomoric election season.

Washington (CNN) Sen. Angus King said Thursday he will vote for Hillary Clinton in November after considering who would be the best decision maker during a nuclear attack.
"I've got to vote for Hillary Clinton," the independent senator from Maine told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "New Day." "I just can't in good conscience put someone in that airplane whose coolness and patience and judgment I have doubts about."
King, the sole remaining senator who usually caucuses with Democrats who had not yet endorsed Clinton, said his support came after boarding the "Doomsday Plane," the airplane that would provide command and control in the case of a nuclear attack.
"When I got off the plane, my knees were a little weak with that realization how much power is in this one person. And then I thought about Donald Trump," he said. "And it's a question of judgment and temperament and this guy has not demonstrated to me the kind of coolness that you need in that situation."
King did not endorse any candidate during the presidential primary season and his backing of Clinton comes two days after the Senate's other independent senator who caucuses with the Democrats, Bernie Sanders, backed the presumptive Democratic nominee.

Hillary is lucky to have this team!

On the same day Bernie Sanders officially endorsed Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination and declared she will make an "outstanding president," presumptive Green Party nominee Jill Stein was having none of it.
"If you don't want to vote for a war monger or racist billionaire, there are more options. The political revolution will keep going," Stein tweeted in the hour preceding Sanders' announcement alongside Clinton in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Jill, there is no revolution behind your campaign. 4% of the vote?
Unlike you, Jill, Bernie has half a brain cell and sees that tRump is a clear and present danger to our country. Hillary Clinton is the only candidate that can defeat Donald Trump as of right now, most of us were smart enough to see that Jill, but you are actively campaigning for him.

I am so damn sick-and-tired of this woman : "Jill Stein shreds Sanders' Clinton endorsement"
Go away, Jill, your one of the biggest pains in the ass since Nader. I used to sort of admire her (barely) but now I just plain cant stand her. Anyway, from politico *sigh*

As Sanders began speaking, Stein offered her own hashtags to disaffected Bernie backers. "The revolution continues with those who will fight for a government that represents all of us--not just the 1%. #HillNo #JillYes,"
Stein has suggested she would step aside as the Green Party's standard bearer should Sanders wish to lead the ticket. "I've invited Bernie to sit down and explore collaboration," she told The Guardian in an interview published last Friday. "Everything is on the table. If he saw that you can't have a revolutionary campaign in a counter-revolutionary party, he'd be welcomed to the Green Party. He could lead the ticket and build a political movement."

We HAVE GOT TO get rid of these people!
More reasons why we MUST win down ballot in November :
Ryan Says Clinton is Too Much of a Liberal Progressive to Find Common Ground WithHouse Speaker Paul Ryan, R-WI, says that he would have trouble working with Hillary Clinton because her policy positions are too far to the left.
Ryan said he would have trouble finding common ground with Clinton since she is too progressive.
I think she is actually a liberal progressive, Ryan told Politico. I dont think shes faking it. I think shes a liberal progressive.
And I think shes sitting atop a party thats now run by [Sens.] Bernie Sanders [I-Vt.] and Elizabeth Warren [D-Mass.], Ryan added. This is a Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders party.
Our party has moved right, their party have moved really left. I think the common ground, say that you had in the early 90s when I was here as a staffer is nothing like the common ground you have right now.
Ryan also said the Republican obsession with Clintons use of a private email server while with the State Department is not political.

It is a video of a police officer on a car stop. This officer was murdered by the driver. This video has been used in police training to show the dangers of what can happen when an officer hesitates.
This video runs through every officer's mind before an encounter. It is what they are trained to do. Race is not consciously on the officers mind. (Maybe subconsciously for some ).
When people wonder why officers give verbal warnings, or physically attempt to restrain someone to secure them, this video shows why. This video also helps the people understand why officers are trained to use deadly force when a suspect ignores those commands or resist, and when they reach for a gun... They are shot.
Training for this video highlight the opportunities this officer had to fire on the suspect when it became life threatening. If you watch the video, look for those opportunities.
This does not apply to every situation or to every police officer. But when we watch a video of an incident and cast judgement of the police for how they responded to a threat, think about this video. Put this chilling scream into your head. Think about this fear and drill it into your head.
Then cast your judgement.
Note: I am not casting judgement on any recent incidents. Most people don't have law enforcement experience, so this is my small offer to help people look through an officer's eyes.
My cousin is also a former police officer. The video he is talking about shows a police officer in a gun fight with a Vietnam vet. The officer was killed. What pisses me off about this is that he didn't seem to realize the obvious irony. One of the points people make is that we need to change the way officers are trained. By training police officers to have an image of themselves being murdered while they are pulling someone over, we are teaching them to want to blow our heads off. By showing them that they could die by hesitating to use deadly force, we are training them to shoot us first and ask questions later.
My Cousin is at it again.
A few days ago I posted about my cousin who is a "Democratic" politician here in PA. Last week he put up a Facebook post using out-of-context data to prove that cops aren't racist. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027992153
Well yesterday he put up another post :
