Please, hope and pray for me.

Hey, DU, I just got back from the Doctor with some bad news. And just to clear it up, no there is nothing life threatening, I won't be joining our friends on the In Memoriam page anytime soon. Though it is sight threatening. I've been experiencing odd visual disturbances since late August. I visited a Neuro-opthmologist today (forgive me if that is spelled incorrectly) and explained my problem. They did some standard tests and asked questions, I told them what I was experiencing. The Doctor diagnosed me with Positive Persistant Visual Migraine Phenomena. An extremely irritating visual condition that remains mysterious since it was discovered about 21 years ago. There are theories, but no one has been able to determine the cause. The whole thing is a big blur (and if you could see through my eyes, literally). The doctor said that there is no real treatment for it. It's unpredictable. He said it could be gone by tomorrow or last forever. I did some research, many people reported it
going away after a matter of weeks, months, and a few times even years. That gives me hope, but the idea of this experience being permanent is frightening. In a situation like this, I'll just do my best to ignore it and hope and pray it goes away. I certainly won't let it hold me back from joining you all in the fight against the coming tyranny of this new administration . Please keep me in your hopes and prayers. Thanks, DU. I just came across the sound track to DX Ball, the PC game from 1996 and had the most wicked flashback to when I was little. These are the tunes that got stuck in my head at age 5.
